Originally posted by cdtmFirst, we're not going to have several repeat thread because one thread is from a while back. Using your logic, we'd need new threads every year and have a forum spammed up with repeat threads. Second, most people on this forum debate current versions unless it's otherwise noted in the thread title. And most people don't have a problem with it and title threads according to thich versions they're using: WWH, IG Thanos, KC Captain Marvel, PC Superman, etc. Third, this is not the place to voice concerns. PM a mod or go to the Suggestions Thread. Last, this has been built into the rules for years:
When this thread was made, the "current" version wasn't the "current" version, though.I'm all for using the most recent versions in new threads, but I think these mega threads should stick with the versions they used in their inception, otherwise you can just keep pulling up old whreads and switch up arguments every time something changes...

Debating Format[b]Rules/Standard Fight Settings
In most cases, the poster who originally set up the versus fight determines the conditions of the fight itself (ex. If a character like Superman is in a thread, it'll be assumed that it's the current version unless mentioned otherwise by the thread starter, the same goes with Thanos without the IG, and so on). However, in the cases where the original poster did not set down any constraints or conditions for the fight, then the match would default to the standard rules below.

Any other concerns can be addressed by a PM. Thank you.

But he would have to start out with some insane fts for anyone to say he would pull a majority from current Hulk, let alone Savage Hulk.

Morrison said that by about issue #7, we'll have a good idea of how powerful Superman is/can be.

I agree but hanging with guys like Thor, Silver Surfer, he would need some insane fts. Current Hulk is just an entirely different beast all together.

Worthy Hulk...same. Savage Hulk as well. He need fts to hang with these people...fts. If he wins against Hal, it would still not put him high up the tier because we don't even know how powerful Hal is since again, no one really has fts.

I don't think Marvel give's a **** of the exact moment, it's that the shit roughly is in the same timeline. Spider-Island doesn't fit at all with Fear Itself for example.
Yeah i was thinking the same thing about that event. i wish there was a clear indicator of time relative to the other ongoing thing.

Ah, ok.
He's not far from being able to give Savage Hulk a fight, imo, given his rate of growth.

Just to clarify for people: Current Superman isn't the one being shown in Action Comics, or even in JLA. Those feats can be used, obviously, but they are of a Superman who has been blatantly mentioned as being inferior to the current one. Sadly, until we see more of the modern Superman in the "Superman" book, establishing a baseline is going to be tricky.

Yup. Thursday in Europe.
Can't wait. I wonder if this attitude thing Supes has going on with him right now is temporary? If not, do you think this change will show him not holding back depending on the threat. With the attitude he has, I can see him cutting lose more often than not.
I think Wonder Woman is going to have a grand entrance as well but I wonder if she will be as powerful as he classic self.
I know you don't know all of these answer Pr Burnside you think they got rid of Captain Marvel?
Originally posted by jalek moyeWell Spider-man lacks his SS in FI, while in SI he already regained it, so therefore FI must have happened before SI the problem is in FI the entire world gets turned to ashes and what will happen to the Thing after his rampage is still unknown while in SI he was Parkers old buddy again (which is unlikely or would suck if his decisions he made while being hammer possessed wouldn't be adressed in the following comics; Thing falling into depressions or something). I think there were a few other points but I can't recall them now.

SS = Spider-Sense
FI = Fear Itself
SI = Spider-Island
