Like PR said, he's done it before. In Ending Battle, he simply uppercutted Neutron into a stable orbit, used his superior flying ability to make an intelligent Bizarro Superman bfr himself, and knocked Mongul far, far away with a single punch..

Someone please answer this: In the current Hulk run (which admittedly, I haven't read all of), has his amp been explained as being an externally given one? Or something else?

He can amp at will. Psycho has the scans showing this but he has complete control over his rage. Like a turn on and turn off button.
Supes isn't physically stronger than Savage. Come on PR, you know this.

Supes does have the speed advantage along with Gladiator, Hyperion, Wonder Woman, Supreme, etc, etc...but I have never depicted them as untouchable beings. A well placed Thunder clap...you know, the one that knocked down a dimensional barrier that was put into place by Umar or the one that one shotted Rulk should be enough to knock Superman for a loop which would give Hulk the opportunity he needs to end the fight.
This is a holding back Hulk.

pr said somewhere that they're cherry picking stories to put back into superman or some such. obviously the new universe was a decree from warner bros. and the dc staff all looked at each other, looked at pictures of their kids on their desks, and just said "okay boss" and they'll do all the cleanup work after.
