That's not the only description. Thor and Superman are almost piers strength wise. Banner changes to the Hulk and immediately have the strength to almost knock Thor the hell out and probably would have done much more if he didn't stop pounding.

He does it to the point that Thor strains to get up and even questions Hulks strength against his and everyone else on the planet.

Savage Hulk STARTS OFF at high Herald strength...whatever happens after this is whatever you want to make it. WWH is leagues above Savage and has been stated too many times to be true in comics. WBH, well...a holding back footstep...

Thor stalemated hulk in a direct comparison in strength for one hour while hulk was getting angrier by minute. Thats the best WBH got? Activating a fault line?

Yes, but the mountain fell on a calm Hulk and he caught it and held it up. Reed was pissing him off so that Hulk would keep the strength to hols the mountain up which is pretty much a smart tactic since again, "Hulk was at a calm state". Hell, he was so calm that he probably would have reverted back to Banner while holding up the mountain.

Hulk did NOT catch it.

They were able to dig out a wedge in time for themselves so the mountain didn't fall directly on them.

The vast majority of its weight was being supported by the surrounding land.

One of the best strength showings I have seen from Thor and I'm not taking that away. That still doesn't take away from this type of showing against Savage Hulk in a fist fight.

Common sense.

As for your WBH comment. Imagine what would have happened if he took an actual footstep or stomped on the ground. Hulk said it best...he would have cracked the world.

They carved out a safe spot just before it landed keeping them from being SQUASHED. 🙂

The surrounding landed caught the weight. Hulk just had the leverage to support the portion directly above their heads.

What a pathetic feat.
