Lol...in the same scan you posted it was stated he was bracing against the mountain and if he was to dig, the mountain would fall on them. He's at a calm state holding up billions of tons.
And that has to do with the fact that Iron Man and Hulk dug out a trench just before it landed to save themselves from being squashed, how?
The point the whole time; Hulk never friggin caught the mountain. The surrounding area did.
All he did was brace the portion of the mountain directly above their heads. The rest was being supported by solid ground.
And to top it off, he was never as calm as you were saying. He was desperate while he was holding the mountain up, because he knew it was a dire situation. So he had plenty of adrenaline pumping. And then Reed made him angrier to buy more time.
It's not really a top herald level feat by any stretch of the imagination.
Hulk most certainly caught it in midair, and Reed shielded everyone from the impact while it KO'ed a couple of people.
She Hulk also tried to brace some of it, and couldn't do it at all when Hulk was still holding it up.
However, it was only 150 billion tons. As confirmed on panel (and on the cover). So there's no way it was the full mountain.

Hulk did not catch it.As it said on panel, Iron Man and Hulk dug out a trench just before it landed so they wouldn't be squashed by it.
The land caught it. Hulk just supported the rest.
Iron Man blasted a space in the mountain as it was falling, and then got KO'ed, while Hulk not only took the brunt of it, but held it up as well as it was falling.
And the rest was 150 billion tons. A mountain that size is a lot heavier than 150 billion tons.
It was an impressive feat no matter how you look at it. Considering it was a weaker Hulk as well. Maybe not as impressive as Carver would try and tell you, but you can't just write it off as shit.

I agree with this, never said anything different.
As for Hulk and Ironman digging out a trench before the mountain fell on them (lol), nice speed ft for the Hulk.

Hulk caught the 150 billion tons as it was falling on him. That much is a fact. There's no possible way he didn't catch it if he was holding it up.Iron Man blasted a space in the mountain as it was falling, and then got KO'ed, while Hulk not only took the brunt of it, but held it up as well as it was falling.

I'm not trying to make it bigger than what it is since I agree with you.

As it directly said, they would have been squashed if Iron Man and Hulk did not dig out a wedge.
Meaning, that when it fell, it fell on land. The land caught it. Hulk just caught the rest.
And yes, obviously a mountain that size would be heavier than billions of tons. Everest alone would be trillions.
But the beauty of the number is, the math might not have been wrong anyway. Why?
Because the only part Hulk was supporting by himself was the amount of rock directly above him and the other's heads. Meaning a space of maybe 15 feet wide, with 2 miles of rock above their heads.
Originally posted by CosmicCometNever denied that.

So Hulk caught the rest? So what you're saying is that Hulk caught 150 billion tons?
Way to go against what I said
Yeah. 150 billion tons. That's how much Hulk was supporting/caught.

I never denied the billions of tons did I?
In fact, I laughed at it and called it a pathetic number. lol.
I simply said Hulk never caught the mountain. He didn't.
The land surrounding the hole iron man and hulk dug for themselves before the fall, caught the mountain. Hulk just supported what was still to support.
The land did the vast majority of the work, since it was supporting the vast majority of the mountain's area.
Originally posted by CosmicCometIt's not a pathetic number when you consider it being a vastly weaker Hulk, and it fell right on him.

Catching 150 billion tons isn't anything to scoff at, and Hulk has vastly better feats anyway.

I agree. Hulk definitely has far better feats than that.
I wasn't downing the Hulk. I was downing Carver trying to portray that as a big high herald level feat and trying to upscale from there.
