I thought I'd couch [the superspeed argument] in terms you would understand.
Much appreciated.

Good ol' Joe ...
I thought he was doing something like that in your scenario ... 😎

the point still remains the same. Superman is capable of travelling so fast, that the Hulk won't even realise he is being taken out of the fight, let alone that he has the option of thunderclapping.
Capable of it I'll grant you, if only for the sake of argument.
Do I see an in-character Superman actually doing anything like what you're describing? Or more than a 20% chance of the thought even occurring to Superman to try that? No.

So much goes unchallenged on these forums that really should be confronted.
Where are you getting the idea that Quicksilver only moves at Mach 3?
Is it some handbook, of the same type that rates Hulk at a 100 Ton lifting level?
Or the company crossover episodes where the Flashes with their extra-dimensional capabilities school Pietro on Speed Force?
Quicksilver doesn't appear like that in the few comics I'VE read of him.
For instance, in his first encounter with Spider-man ...
... and earlier in that same issue, which is Amazing Spider-Man #71, Volume 1, Pietro performs the following feat, running through an electric forcefield.
He states himself that he is faster than the deadly current, not the butler's throwing of the switch, which would mean Pietro is faster than electricity, something that flies in the face of being only as fast as, say, an F-14, or whatever it is you're thinking moves at Mach 3.
Again, I must ask where you are getting your Quicksilver speed assessment from. It doesn't seem to square in the least with what Pietro actually does in the comics, not even the limited things I'VE seen him do.

Quicksilver is a light speed character.
Hard to tell if you're joking, but, if you are, consider Quicksilver outracing that barrier again, shown once more here ...

... in conjunction with the following information:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
" The process by which electric current passes through a material is termed electrical conduction, and its nature varies with that of the charged particles and the material through which they are travelling. Examples of electric currents include metallic conduction, where electrons flow through a conductor such as metal, and electrolysis, where ions (charged atoms) flow through liquids. While the particles themselves can move quite slowly, sometimes with an average drift velocity only fractions of a millimetre per second, the electric field that drives them itself propagates at close to the speed of light, enabling electrical signals to pass rapidly along wires ..."

So, are you giving Hulk light speed reactions? Can I give Deathstroke lightspeed reactions too?
How about Batman?
Thor?
Never said Hulk is a light speedster but what I did say is Hulk is fast as hell and that people like Orion, Superman, Gladiator, Wonder Woman, Silver Surfer, Hyperion, isn't unhittable, since, well, they have been hit by Hulk like characters.
