Oh, and by the by, from the pen of Mark Waid (JLA: Heaven's Ladder):

"Superman can race a speeding photon to its target"

Aquaman drowns in shock laughcry

Lol...this debating going on here is hilarious. Let's not pretend like Hulk will not be punching superman in the head. He isn't fighting Flash.

I thought I'd couch [the superspeed argument] in terms you would understand.

Much appreciated.

Good ol' Joe ...
I thought he was doing something like that in your scenario ... 😎

the point still remains the same. Superman is capable of travelling so fast, that the Hulk won't even realise he is being taken out of the fight, let alone that he has the option of thunderclapping.

Capable of it I'll grant you, if only for the sake of argument.

Do I see an in-character Superman actually doing anything like what you're describing? Or more than a 20% chance of the thought even occurring to Superman to try that? No.

I am open to being shown the Hulk possessing reaction feats, though. If you could show me a fast speedster (so not just Quicksilver Mach 3 level or whatever) ...

So much goes unchallenged on these forums that really should be confronted.

Where are you getting the idea that Quicksilver only moves at Mach 3?

Is it some handbook, of the same type that rates Hulk at a 100 Ton lifting level?

Or the company crossover episodes where the Flashes with their extra-dimensional capabilities school Pietro on Speed Force?

Quicksilver doesn't appear like that in the few comics I'VE read of him.

For instance, in his first encounter with Spider-man ...

Quicksilver is a light speed character.

... and earlier in that same issue, which is Amazing Spider-Man #71, Volume 1, Pietro performs the following feat, running through an electric forcefield.

He states himself that he is faster than the deadly current, not the butler's throwing of the switch, which would mean Pietro is faster than electricity, something that flies in the face of being only as fast as, say, an F-14, or whatever it is you're thinking moves at Mach 3.

Again, I must ask where you are getting your Quicksilver speed assessment from. It doesn't seem to square in the least with what Pietro actually does in the comics, not even the limited things I'VE seen him do.

Hard to tell if you're joking, but, if you are, consider Quicksilver outracing that barrier again, shown once more here ...

... in conjunction with the following information:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

" The process by which electric current passes through a material is termed electrical conduction, and its nature varies with that of the charged particles and the material through which they are travelling. Examples of electric currents include metallic conduction, where electrons flow through a conductor such as metal, and electrolysis, where ions (charged atoms) flow through liquids. While the particles themselves can move quite slowly, sometimes with an average drift velocity only fractions of a millimetre per second, the electric field that drives them itself propagates at close to the speed of light, enabling electrical signals to pass rapidly along wires ..."

And yes, when Savage Hulk found himself confronted by the same speedy Quicksilver that confounded Spider-man, Quickie got sent away ...

I am serious. Quicksilver is currently a light speed character.

Because of his radio waves feat? 😛

Yes.

So he has currently tried fighting the Hulk, and the Hulk fought him with the same speed level? Scans, please.

I never said that but Hulk would slap him just like he did in those scans.

No matter how fast he goes?

Why not? He slapped him in the scans Blue put up...don't see a reason on him not being able to pimp slap him again.

So, are you giving Hulk light speed reactions?

Can I give Deathstroke lightspeed reactions too?

How about Batman?

Thor?

Carver's Hulk is a flying speedster with gamma vision, you didn't know that?

Never said Hulk is a light speedster but what I did say is Hulk is fast as hell and that people like Orion, Superman, Gladiator, Wonder Woman, Silver Surfer, Hyperion, isn't unhittable, since, well, they have been hit by Hulk like characters.

But quicksilver is a light speed level guy, and no matter how fast he goes, he will be tagged, that's what you said...

Hulk showings against speedsters proves that he can hit them. What else do we need.?
