The thing that screws the Catholic priests over is the whole "you can't do the nasty or I shall smite thee!" thing... And then they spend the whole day around a bunch of ripe young boys. I mean... come on... That's an emotional scarring waiting to happen! And people are all surprised "OMG, the pastor just touched Billy's hooha!" Well, gee... HE HASN'T BEEN LAID SINCE FOREVER! I think this is a lesson showing that even the holiest of people sin. Especially the "OMG teh worst sin EVAR!!"
Heres a thought.....
Since in the very old days, if you wanted a bible, monks had to write one up by hand (basically make a copy). So over hundreds of years, how do we know someone all of a sudden said 'Being Gay is a sin'. For all we know when they made the bible they could have said that and written it in.

What about two men, a woman, six hens and a donkey?

It IS a sin.But it is not wrong...
Isn't that an oxymoron then? How can something be a sin and not wrong at the same time? I agree it's not wrong, and as such it's not a sin, and ergo those who enforce such concepts are wrong because the two are kind of exclusive, that is sin and not being wrong.
According to the Bible is Homosexuality a sin
I believe what the Bible says which is homosexuality is a sin, but some people who say they read the Bible say its not. In this case why did God destroy Sodom, and Gamorrah. I'm not saying we should hate people who are homosexual all I am asking is why people think it's not a sin.
According to the bible there are verses that state a man should not lay with a man like he would with a women. But still how many people keep all the scriptures? If you live, and breath and walk, you are breaking all of the writings. Gluttony, imaginations, all of it. It's as if scripture warns you not to be human, with human thoughts, feelings, and desires.
An entity that is so grand would not be so concerned with such petty rules. It would be so beyond this. It's petty! This is a man made god.

Inge AndersonSaying that the last recorded acts of the Sodomites - the demands for same-gender sex - are proof that they were destroyed for homosexuality is like saying that a condemned man cursing his guards on the way to his execution is being executed for cursing the guards. Sodom was judged worthy of destruction before the incident with Lot and the angels.
Ezekeiel 16:49-50Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had arrogance, abundant food and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy.
Thus they were haughty before Me, Therefore I removed them when I saw it.
Interestingly, those who cite Genesis 19 as a biblical condemnation of homosexuality, selectively ignore the biblical endorsement of incest that also takes place in the story:
Genesis 19: 30-38Lot went up from Zoar and stayed in the mountains, and his two daughters with him; for he was afraid to stay in Zoar; and he stayed in a cave, he and his two daughters.
Then the firstborn said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of the earth. Come, let us make our father drink wine, and let us lie with him that we may preserve our family through our father."
So they made their father drink wine that night, and the firstborn went in and lay with her father; and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
On the following day, the firstborn said to the younger, "Behold, I lay last night with my father; let us make him drink wine tonight also; then you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve our family through our father."
So they made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger arose and lay with him; and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
Thus, both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father.
The firstborn bore a son, and called his name Moab; he is the father of the Moabites to this day.As for the younger, she also bore a son, and called his name Ben-ammi; he is the father of the sons of Ammon to this day.
I am a sinner, and I am a christian I belive that some christians who say they go to church on a weekly baises, and read there Bible all the time are hippocrites. I do believe that homosexuality is wrong, and a sin, but most of what all of us do is a sin. what I'm trying to say is that being a homosexualis a sin, and it shouldn't happen, but so is cursing but people bother not to change that act. I think some christians believe judge everybody else, while they themselves are sinning in the process.
I think christians are afraid of homosexuality, simply because they fear God. God gave Sodom, and Gamorrah their chance, but they choose to ignore him, and if you read the scripture you know they were destroyed.
If your homosexual so be it, but I dont think it should be a big announcement I just think it should be privite. I dont think sin should be great big happy moment. Dont get me wrong though no one should also be happy about cheating on their wife, having a three way, or having sex before marrige. The thing is though is I sin when I think about having sex before marrige, and I have does that mean they church should bane me or hate me, and think i'm just a big sinner? no it just means I sined I need to repent, and the church can help by praying for me, and however else they can help me. I think this is the message Christians are missing in this day, and age God didnt want us to hate those who do wrong he wants us to help those who do wrong, and If they dont want to change there ways thats their decision, and they will one day have to stand before god, and explain as we all will. They way some of us act we make christians look bad, and this leads to people not wanting to become followers of christ which was not Gods intent.
I aslo have another problem in this forum, the fact that everytime someone says they dislike homosexuality you get offended, and say there bad, but what you dont realize is that they have the right to there opinion, just like you when you say you approve homosexuality.

why would God not care about sin, why would someone get away for one sin, and not another. It wasn't in Gods plan for men to be with men, and this is why it's a sin. He chooses not to stop us, but I think he gave us a warning when he burned Sodom, and Gamorrah.
Is incest part of "God's plan," because He endorses it here:
Genesis 19:30-38Lot went up from Zoar and stayed in the mountains, and his two daughters with him; for he was afraid to stay in Zoar; and he stayed in a cave, he and his two daughters.
