Anyways what is the release dat for the Revolution.
The relase date should not be too far off as sony already annocued they are putting thier blockbuster movies on blue-ray discs. that means that the discs work.
this is the dumbest thing i ahve heard all day.

Yeah it looks comfortable. the Ps2 controller is good but if you have big hands it is a problem. The best controller ever was the one for the N64.
Somy is going overboard. they are making an home theater system instead of a video game machine. Blue ray drive, dvd drive and other a million things. However people could buy or not. People bought the PS2 because back then DVD were only getting popular. Who knows. The hype on that machine is huge. They could dissapoint or not.
The next gen war will be closer then this gen war.

It will be a battle of who has the best games or which system performs better
It will be more of a battle to see which media is more popular for third party games. Thats the reason the Ps1 disc was soo much more popular than the cartrage. And it was also the reason why the final fantasy series moved to the Playstation plat-forms too.
well right now the 360 is getting more attention as it is already out but being as ps3 is PS3 it will have alot of 3rd party games, well evryone knew that as really Ps3 DON'T MAKE THEIR GAMES the majority is 3rd party games and nowadats the are hopping to other consoles. Now revolution will have alot of3rd party games as because of the new way in gameplay but it will be not at the strat of the consoles life around a few months after it comes out, but expect a bounty of Nintendo IP that will be made and the downloadable games.
ok i was brwosing the internet for NRV topics and i saw the survey nintendo was conducting about the revloutiin downloadable thingss anyway i saw about
-20-25 games available on each nintendo platform that can be downloaded thopugh more will be added.
-nes games will be $2.99 while N64 games will be $19.99 (thses figure are not finalised.
there are two ways of downloading rent or buy
-to download you can either subscribe $14.99 a month for unlimimted downloads, but i think you'll need points to download some for instance say mario is 500 points to download you'll have to get 500 pionts to sownload theat game thopugh not sure on the piont thing.
-straight up just buy them while online on the NRV

what im trying to get around to is that there is nothing technologically new about the xbox 360. They didnt even go with there HD-Drive. What im looking for is into the future for when games get pretty huge and Ps3 will fit them onto one disc. The future looks to hold multi-disc's for the xbox 360 because they wont beable to fit them onto one disc. Can you image being in the middle of your favorite xbox360 game and a black screeen comes up and tells you to switch to disc 2. That is gonna blow for them if they wanna go back into a previous level to..idk maybe unlock something, so they need to change the disc again. That to me will be a hassel. Or how about when SACDs come out and you need a SACD player. Yes, your ps3 will do that too and it will play your BlueRay DVD's when they come out. 2 or 3 years from now when those become standered and your staring at your xbox360, you'll wonder why you didnt go with the system that was looking into the future technologies.Nintendo won't have to worry about running out of disc space because they wont need to make anything in hi-def plus it wont take much to make there games look pretty because of the new graphic scheme anyways ( already told what it is above ) Overall, yes maybe xbox360 is better than Revolution but it sure is more of a hassel than Revolution will be. And it will NOT be better than ps3 except in there controllers cuz sony sucks at making controllers now i guess. It's like a boomerang or half a steering wheel lol
Heres just a wild question, Can you please mention an idea that might be good for using Blu Ray disc? The only benefit I see is for backing up data. Also how many people will have a HDTV in 2 or 3 years. I know I wont but I will start saving for one because they are cool. Blu Ray discs havent been properly introduced to consumers therefore nobody knows what its ment for which is why we dont see Blu Ray Drives on store shelves because they are too expensive at the moment seein how most people other than companies wouldnt use them. Dont say for holding movies either, I think the lowest BR Disc size so far is 40GB. If these next gen console are to last 10 years its safe to say that BR Discs wont affect which console will be "better" in terms of technology, it simply means PS3 chose BR like Nintendo designing their new controller or Microsoft using 3 CPUs, it just means they are trying to be unique which doesnt always mean they are "better". I agree with you about BRD holding one game however you managed to like PS1 and PS2 when they had multiple discs and for some reason hate that idea now, I never heard a complaint from a Final Fantasy gammer about that or MGS for having multiple cds aswell.
Yeah....
Delevopers arent stupid, they wont make you change disc's in the middle of a battle or something.
Most developers use an multi disc system really well, generally after an major turning point, and usually in a game like Resident Evil 4, its impossible to go back to the game without using a save.

well of course they wont during a battle but im just saying that if you'd wanna go back to a previous level you might have to switch disc's if xbox 360 doesnt get the HD-Drive.no my reason for liking the ps3 is because it has alot more options to it than xbox 360
Whats so hard about switching discs anyways. Also what does HD-Drive have to do with switching discs?
