You know digital doesn't mean HD, right? Analog/digital is simply the signal they use to transmit TV channels. I've had digital for years but sure as hell don't have an HDTV.

Probably not, even though my step-dad was checking them out the other day. I have little siblings and my mom would rather wait until they're older so they'd be less likely to break the $900+ shiny new toy 😛

Wish I had my own HDTV... but yeah, decided that money would go better toward my own computer. 😛

Well my mom went and got this big one for the Living Room, but she hasn't set it up for High Definition yet, which annoys the heck out of me.

Just finished Gears of War last night, and dear god that game is a good enough reason alone to buy a 360. Absolutely Outstanding.

I have a small 15 inch hdtv that does 1080i which is amazing however its a small screen

The reason the colours look better is simply because you are not using a composite cable any more- nothing to do with the HD at all, which makes a Wii look worse.

Decent cabling on a non-HD set is the best for Wii.

The best TV for a Wii is an ED set, that runs at a native 480p. Perfect for component cables.

Yeah, you need a set top box for HD cable channels, or your satellite package set up with HD channels. You may have a HDTV, but unless you get specific programs, you won't be watching HD.

Sucks, right now my local cable company is freaking out of HD top boxes, so we're on a "list".

It's like every company is taking a que from Nintendo and making shit hard to find in hopes of it becomming popular, or something.

Oh dont get me on Nintendo. It's ****ing retarded.

Maybe, 1 day a week, some stores get the Wii..but they get like 15 of them for the whole week, or even less. For a population near a million, it s ****ing dumb.

Sooner or later, your going to piss people off to a point when they're not even going to bother.

Let's see you manufacture enough consoles to meet demand...if you want it to be done right it takes time. It's not that Nintendo is doing it on purpose, they are just selling like hotcakes and still not over saturating the market.

XBox 360 was hard to come by at first was it not? Check and Mate... Be patient.

The demand for the Wii is FAR higher than they can reasonably produce and ship consoles. I honestly don't think Nintendo expected the demand to be as high as it is. Considering the number of consoles sold and the fact that they sell out immediately, it's not that they're not shipping a lot out; it's that they simply can't produce enough to meet all the demand.
