Link Respect Thread
This thread is dedicated to the adult version of Link from Ocarina of Time,
also known as the Hero of Timewink He is way too underrated on KCM, and his
many possibilities and factos makes him interesting to debate.

WITHOUT GADGETS:
Link is, without his gadgets, a peak-human infused with
magic that gives him a VERY tough body. The Heart Containers
have magically made him able to get hurled small mountains
at, getting slashed by swords, getting hitted by bombs, and
other things there would kill a normal human, and only get
small damages. The Great Fairy also DOUBLED his defense.
So, because of magical infusions, he have superhumanly tough
skin. He should at least be as tough as Thing in the defense-
apartment. Link can also use a variety of spells himself to
attack. With Din\'s Fire, he can create a massive wall of fire
that continuesly grows bigger. It deals damage of normal fire.

For defensive, he can use Nayru\'s Love. It creates some kind
of aura around him that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to do damage to him,
no matter what. The downside is, to keep it up, he uses magic
energy. He can maybe keep it up for 3 minutes?

This may be close to useless in a fight, but very useful when he
tries to solve dungeon puzzles. Link can use Farore\'s wind to make
a Warp Point. Then, no matter where he ar,e he can teleport to the
Warp Point he created. It shouldnt be neccesary to post a picture on
how a TELEPORTATION workswink A green light, he is moved in a secondsmile
But all 3 spells has TWO shared weakness\'s-
1) It takes him 3 seconds to do them
2) It costs magic power, so he can\'t keep doing it.
But he can do it enough to not run dry in a fightwink
And now, for his psysical condition... As stated before, he is on the
level of peak-human. He is very hard to grow tired, and makes backwards
saltos with ease, swims fast and is pretty masculine. He also sidesteps fast,
is *expert at rolling forward*stick out tongue. and has many times showed great balance.
He is above an Olympic Athlete, thats for sure. Here is some great examples on

But even a nearly unhurtable peakhuman with magic cant do anything if he dont
got brains, can he? Well, Link got that. He is wise and has solved legendary
and extremely hard puzzles. And he are not afraid of ANYTHING, thats also why
he got the Triforce of Courage. He is so intelligent that he can use seemly
ANY weapon in first try. And quickly becomes an expert.
MAGICAL IMPROVEMENTS FROM GADGETS:
The Golden Bracelets, when weared, makes him the strongest person in all of
Hyrule. The official desriptsion says it makes the wearer strong enough
to move mountains, and we see Link easily lifting rocks that should weight
AT LEAST 20 tons! Remember, thats with EASEwink
I couldnt find any screenshots of him lifting enormous rocks, but here is
an example on the sizedifference ebtween him and the rocks he can lift in
the game, even through he should be able to roughly lift rocks at double that
size!

Also, before he got the Golden Gauntlets, he had the Silver Gauntlets. They gave
him superstrenght, but only limited to do feats like pulling the enormous block
backwards on the screenshot:

Also, there is two kind of clothes
Link can wear that has different effects:
The blue Zora tunic that makes him able to breath underwater.
The red Goron tunic that makes him resistant to heat and cant burn away.
His trademark green tunic is just normal clothes.
GENERAL FIGHTING STYLE
Link is a natural talent with a sword and a shield.
In battle: -
After only have been used to use a sword in a few weeks,
if not LESS, he could fight small armys of evil creatures
and even defeat the advanced Gerudo-warriors.

Offensively and defensively, he mostly counts on his sword and shield.
His shield, Mirror Shield, can deflect every nonorganic attack, like
ice, energy and fire, back at the attacker, and with Links naturally
great aiming, its very effective. And the shield cant be destroyed.
As stated above, he can do magic when without gadgets, but
he can use a cool move known as Spin Attack by fusing his
magic with a sword move. If charging like a second, this
is how wide the Spin Attack will hit:

And it deals more than double the damage dealed with a
normal sword slash of his.
WEAPONS:
Link has a special ability only shared with a few other fictional characters:
To hide his items God Know Where without being slowed down. And to quickly change between
them. Here is a list of weapons he has, besides magic and sword:
Bow (Can also fire Ice Arrows and Fire Arrows, and the evil-destroying Light Arrows!)
Bombs (Can toss bombs at his opponents for great damage. But they are slow and inaccurate)
Boomerang (In the game, he cant use it as an adult, but he can in Super Smash Bros)
Longshot (Can shoot this ironarrow into his opponent and draw them close. Also to reach higher platforms)
Links aim with a bow is exceptional!

And his Longshot is also pretty deadly...
Link also has a lot of smaller advantages, but these are his major ones that should make him feared on KMC
