Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

no disrespect but i have noticed that certain mods favor certain members. and no i aint thegrim cause personally i think the guy is a moron. but dont get it twisted the moron makes a good assumtion. if i remember correctly its funny to me that i got ranted on by a mod in otf and she favored puzzle and his little slick comments. usualy im a hell raiser and a rule breaker but how in the hell is it fair that favortism is played on these forums? i know my rights i read the policy. i believe some of these mods are power tripping and thats my opinion. and if i get banned for stateing a opinon than that proves my point.

I'm guessing you don't know the legend of preysin? He's got quite a history of antagonizing everyone around him and questioning the mods for just about anything. He's been temp banned twice and warned countless times, only to come back with the exact same behavior as before.

And where is the favoritism you spoke of? Who exactly is being favored? Because it's certainly not preysin.

i would post actual facts but i aint got no 4 hours to recap the threads in the otf. but i remember he got involved in a conversation wich never included him and starts attacking me. now when i attacked him back storm the moderator told me quit bashing other members as if he never did sh^t wrong. now thats favortism. i didnt get banned but the principal of the matter is she verbal said what she said. like lastnight i made a thread and he says something slick. now if the roles was reversed id be banned. and personaly i dont take sh*t from no one wether its online or in real life. and on the side note puzzle snitched and reported me wile i bashed him acting like hes a victim of a randomless situation.

Well, instead of attacking him back, you could have simply reported him, as would be the sensible, mature thing to do. See, my parents have a rule about things with my under-10 siblings: If someone is mean to you, and you're mean to them back, then you're the one that gets punished, because, in a way, you've already punished whoever was mean to you.

As much as it may embarrass you to be compared to my 7-year-old sister, that's the vibe I'm getting here.

So actually, when Puzzle "snitched" (wow, I haven't had to say that since grade school... what a weird word) on you, he was actually the one doing the correct, mature thing.

For starters - grim92 aka preysin had a long history for attacking people anytime he thought they disagreed with him and then cried bias when he got in trouble for bashing, and then attacking the mods who told him his behaviour was unacceptable. This was not a random whim that resulted in his ban, it was the fact that he had a history of doing that and had been temporary banned twice already for it.

And as for the OTF thread in question? Puzzle made a comment that was in no way bashing at all and wasn't even to you, it was in response to something said by someone else, and then YOU went off on a flaming spree. He didn't do anything wrong, you did. And no, following the rules and reporting someone who breaks them is not snitching. Lose the high school attitude, please.

Well most of the Bad press has died down for the Ps3. The Blu-ray group's Trojan horse has worked successfully blu-ray is starting to take the lead and HD-DVD is dieing.

Much of blu-rays success is due to the PS3, you could say the ps3 is what sold blu-ray. But now as Blu-ray becomes the leader in HD formats the tides will turn and no longer will the PS3 be what sells blu-ray but blu-ray will be what sells the ps3 due to it's dominance over the HD format. Now that the format is won it's time for the PS3 prove itself worthy to follow after the PS2 with games like this;

What does Blu Ray movies have to do with PS3 selling more because of gaming? What you saying is that PS3 only sells because it allows customers to buy a cheaper BluRay player so they can watch movies.

To be released game on PS3(Resistance: Fall Of Man) - £39.99

So why post number to Blu Ray vs HDDVD is theres no connection to Wii,360 or PS3 gamming numbers?

It was to show that Blu-ray may acctually start selling PS3's instead of Ps3's selling blu-ray. And if blu-ray starts selling PS3's then there sales are going to start to climb and never come down becuase ps3 owners will push the format and make more ps3 owners because the format is in the lead.

Thus createing more PS3 owners in turn increessing the PS3 gaming numbers. and with the format war basicly won all sonys focus will be on gaming. and with games like little big planet they are on the track to total victory.

Agreed. Keep HD-DVD/Blu-Ray sales figures to the proper forum.

What is being sold is only to the small group of tech-heads that want all the newest stuff and can afford it. On the whole, people just don't care yet.

I'm sorry I forgot that because YOU don't care about blu-ray the rest of the world also doesn't care about blu-ray all because you don’t care about it. And also sorry because if blu-ray becomes the next DVD it won't increase ps3's sales in both games and console so it is completely unrelated. No this isn’t sarcasm I am serious.

PS3 games are going to be all in Blue-Ray format soon

Discs that are bigger and have better quality will give you the most gaming experience, more storage, and smoother viewing.

So, if Blue Ray is dominating HDVD, that preety much means that the PS3 will have the best disc format out right now.
