sorry for me? but....but.... what happened to "bye"? what did i tell you?
cant get enough of my attention, can you?
you love me deep down, i know it.
i think all this time all you really wanted was a hug ✅
don't run away from your feelings
but i guess if you feel its best for you to go back to insulting
people for their dislike of a gaming console's name, you must
do what you feel is right.
Quit the bickering, it's a damn name, people are going to continue to refer to it as Revolution at least for a while as they get used to the new name...and if they really are set on continuing to call it Revolution, well, they're not hurting anyone, so I really don't see the big deal. It's just a name, and is about the least relevant thing when it comes to something like this.
Anyway. As for most anticipated game for it...I don't know, really. I haven't really been paying much attention to what's going to be for it. Mario Kart would be great 😄
I think Revolution is a much much better name, really. It was a good description of the system, it sounded better, and it looked better.
That said, it is kinda silly protesting the name change by just calling it by its old name. You have the right to do so, of course, you can call a Playstation a LickMeElmo if you want, it's still a playstation. Just like a Wii is a Wii, regaurdless. This is especially silly if you plan on buying one. If you are really so deadset against the name, to the point where you feel the need to actively protest against it, then don't buy the system. That is the best way to stick it to 'em. You think Nintendo will give two pieces of pig shit if you buy the system and then say "Hey I don't like the name!! I'm going to call it Revolution!" They're still get the money. You can always just call it Nintendo.
Plus, don't be shocked if Nintendo changes the name again. They've been getting a ton of shit for the name change, they may decide it was a mistake and change it to something more accurate and descriptive of the direction they want the system to go.
Welcome to KMC: Discu...Talk-About-Stuff-That-Won't-Cause-Bickering Board.
I didn't say they were hurting anyone, and if they want to; Who can stop them? Nobody. Do what they want, their life. I just said it was stupid to do so, because it is.

Precisely.

I've actually always called every Nintendo system just simply "Nintendo".
Personally I'm leaning towards General Kaliero's theory on the first page, about how it's nearly E3 and that they're trying to get hype buzzing about info about the system and have released this as a dummy name, and the real one will be announced at E3 itself.
Who knows though.
However, I must admit every time I hear the name Wii I think of a little kid running around yelling "wheeeeee!!!" 😂
but lana, honestly....did you like the name 'revolution'? i mean think about it. this is nintendo...the 'outside the box' console by tradition. doesnt "revolution" just scream "meh...we just couldnt think of a better name....so....whatever".
im not defending "Wii" in fact i hate it.
but i think "revolution" is.........eeh 😬 *yawn*
I want another Goldeneye (even though I've still got it for my N64).
I read somewhere that they won't have Rareware games on the backwards compatability list....? That makes me sad. Even though I still have most of those games.
New Mario and Smash Bros will be cool though.

I liked the name Revolution, it was a solid name, but not what you'd think it'd be. But Wii is just....well, silly. Like I said, it reminds me of a kid running around yelling. Not really the sort of image you'd think they'd want to put forth, considering GC's (not quite accurate) reputation of being a kiddy system.
But people are used to Revolution, so even at the least you can't expect everyone to just drop that right off the bat and start calling it Wii like that was the name from the beginning.
Metroid is definitely up there for me, also Red Steel.
I think there will be a 6th RE and it'll probably have worlds more opportunity stored in it now that there's this new controller. Hopefully it'll get onto the Wii. Using the controller in a chainsaw like manner would be incredible.
Zeldas are always amazing.

It'll be a while before a Zelda for the new one though, since Twilight Princess is going to be on GC. I just hope they stick with the more adult graphics because the kiddy graphics on WW (which was a good game) just really put a lot of people off initially.
Zelda games are ALWAYS amazing though, so no worries there.

yeah, it does sound silly. what pisses me off is not the name really but the way they also just bit apple's design. look at the back of a G5 iMac and tell me....de ja vu? i hate biters

I think they'll likely have an online store, a la iTunes, where you pay for, and download, the games.I have no idea though. I just think it's amazing that they're doing it, because I'll most definitely buy a lot of them. Duck Hunt being first on the list, then Bionic Commando.

I think it's something like that, yes, and they'll have all the games from every system available (unless licenses have changed or whatnot).
I know I'll definitely be getting a load of the old NES games I used to have as a child but have since stopped working, since those are a b!tch to replace.

Perfect Dark Zero is about as close as you're going to get to a new Goldeneye. Single player is kinda dated and generic, but it does have the same system of difficulty, where by raising the difficulty it actually changes the level and adds new objectives for you too do. Fun game, great great multiplayer. On a ....Wii... though, Red Steel will have to satisfy your FPS needs.
AC - Don't get your hopes up about a new RE for the Wii, the 5th one is coming out for the 360 and PS3, but not for a couple of years, and I think I read somewhere that they don't have any plans to make any more RE games for Nintendo. But, you never know. Would be interesting if they did with the new controller. But if a 6th one comes out it won't be for a long, long time.

Perfect Dark Zero's on the 360 isn't it...blaah...multi-player's the most important for me in those sort of games, my friends and I used to spend hours and hours playing Goldeneye.
Also, just because it is probably the cutest game ever....Yoshi's Story! I'd love another one of those games.
