BTW Who has seen the latest Killzone 2 trailer?
I must say it looked great, but IMO it didn't look as sharp as the first trailer. I've never played Killzone...does it have any unique abilities? Or is it just an average shooter? All I saw was the guy shoot...no melees, no grenades, no vehicles, no rolling, no slow-mo, no physics etc.
By the way I'm not hating on it. I'm just curious and want to know if it offers anything special besides the eye-candy.

E3: No more 60GB PlayStation 3 in US after July, says Reeves'All they're doing is taking their stock and marking the price down'
SCEE president David Reeves has told GamesIndustry.biz that the 60GB PlayStation 3 will no longer be available in the US after stock sells out - which he predicts will occur by the end of the month.
Reeves was speaking at an E3 event to announce the introduction of a new PS3 bundle in Europe. When asked about possible criticisms over whether SCEE should have given consumers the option to pay a lower price, as SCEA has done, he replied, "Well, they're not really are they, because what the US are offering from the 1st of August is a USD 599 version with one game.
"All they're doing is taking their stock in trade that they've got at the moment of the 60GB model, marking the price down and it will all be gone by the end of July."
When asked to clarify if this will mean the end of the 60GB model, Reeves answered, "In America, yes."
SCEA announced a USD 100 price cut for PlayStation 3 earlier this week. A new 80GB model will come bundled with a copy of Motorstorm and will retail for USD 599.

It honestly depends. You won't be able to find a 20GB one anymore as I think most stores sent theirs back a while ago. Obviously you'd be able to get the 80GB one. Whether or not there's any 60GB ones still available just will depend on how they sell.

If thats the case, thats ****ing retarded. I told a guy at work today who was thinking of picking up an PS3 eventually (for FF13) and was happy that it was going down in price. I told him that they're stopping the 60GB version and just selling the 80GB (that was my understanding). He just looked at me, and said, " What the ****". He was pissed. I wouldnt be supraised if alot of other people got just as mad.

It's just not selling well enough. I mean, that's why the 20GB was discontinued. I really didn't think Sony was going to do an actual price drop so early, and apparently I was correct.
I understand the 20GB being let go. It make sense.
But this is way to much. Watching the 1UP show, and they're all talking about how Sony did really well during its press conference on making themselves seem more human compared to before.
The funny thing is that the none of the 1UP guys said anything about this. This shows that Sony are assholes.
