I don't know who you heard that from, but that is a total false statement. It never happened to me, not even once.
Just because it didn't happen to you doesn't make it a false statement.
Reports of the PS3 version freezing up were pretty common when the game was released.
And it's not possible for someone to have tried it on the PC, as it's not out for the PC until next month.

Yes. Tried and tested both on PS3 and PC. PS3 tops it off.

I know, uneccesary.
But I figured someone had to do it.
[/Dumb reason]
😂 epic fail by the fanboys...its probably not a smart idea to try and lie to people who obviously know a lot better than you do 😛
concerning the actual argument, 1 sided as it is, i dont have either systems, but have played both..heres my opinion on them..
ps3 - a great blue ray player, but when it comes to games, only MGS4 really stands out 😬
360 - great online service, gears of war, halo3, etc..sure, it has had problems (RROD), but more than makes up for it with great games selection and the best online service of this generation..l
i personally prefer my wii (SSBB, mario kart, battalions wars 2, etc)..
it may have poorer graphics than the ps3 and 360, but since when have graphics been the defining factor of a great game? look at mario galaxy for example...nowhere as good graphics as say, halo3, resistance or gears, and yet it is the highest rated videogame in the entire world..
no, the wii takes the cake for me because of its great controls and awesome game selection, not its shinyness..

IM O you shouldn't be using the words "good graphics" there, Galaxy had one of the best graphics I'v seen in games, not very realistic, but definitley some of the best things I've seen on current gen.

Retro is something from the early 90's, not a PS2 game.I never understood why backwards compatibility is such an issue. I would think the majority of next gen console buyers have previous systems and are buying it to play newer games.
That's what I think as well. Never seem it as much of an issue as to keep your older consoles around... but it is convenient to have said feature

I too never heard of the PS3 version having that much problems
what I do remember its the update issue (the one that pretty much bricked the PS3) that happened around the release of GTAIV
... I can be wrong though...
They're both good.

I have a copy of GTA IV for PC since I pre-ordered one before release. And learn how to spell basic English.
"Uneccesary" is spelled "unnecessary".
Oh, I spelled something wrong in english, does that make my point invalid?
And if it was downloaded illegally, chances are it's not a complete version of the game or is the 360 version...or is simply a demo. Because, as I pointed out, games are generally finished a few days before shipping. That's why games, if they leak online before they release, don't do so until just before it's actually released, and why it's very common for release dates to be adjusted up until a day or two before it's set to ship.
I mean, look at LittleBigPlanet. The game was recalled, the music replaced, and the game re-shipped out within a week.
