Say, current-geners, for those of you that purchased the current 80 GB PS3 model, how much space is taken up the hard drive before you begin playing any games, downloading any software, or saving any pictures or videos. I plan on getting an 80 GB PS3, but with MGS4 and GTA 4 that 80 GB will eventually become obsolete. So how much space in taken up on an "untouched" PS3?

Wow, dude. How incredibly shallow of you. And I hate to burst your bubble there buddy, but that is sexist. It's a stereotype.
What in tarnation are you talking about?! The only games women really know about are Cooking Mama. That's right sir, that's how I teach my wife. She know she is supposed to stay in that kitchen and work that DS and put a nice meal on the table for me.

What! Gears is one of the most cliche games of all time."Uh, I'm Marcus Fennix, and I'm going to run through I game with little to no story and painfully stereotypical characters. I think ill just go grunt over there...."
I still had much more fun playing Gears than I did with HALO3

"Oh, Ulysses in Times New Roman, that's disgusting, I better go read the DaVinci Code in Verdana" 😐

Looks to me like Nintendo is turning some attention back to the "bread and butter" gamers instead of always focusing on the "Cooking Mama" types. Thank God!
The conduit, I'm looking forward to this game, hopefully it's good and not just graphics

Absolutely, I've always thought ti looked much better then the current system. Sure it will bring a bit confusion in the beginning, but it looks pretty cool and more user-friendly.

Yep. I broke it.
I have no regrets. It sucked anyway.Of course, gameplay is the foremost factor in enjoying games.
BUT graphics bring gameplay to another level.😐
Sorry to burst your bubble. But the Wii will never be able to handle great graphics. It's hardware just can't.
Regardless, thats on the Wii.

Why does it suck? Lemme see..
I'll make this painless.

1. Inferior graphics engine compared to PS3. Compare it side-by-side and you'll notice immediately.
Probably not, because I'd be too busy playing the games on my Xbox 360, as opposed to looking at a PS3's blank screen whilst hopefully saying to myself "They'll be some good games out soon, just you wait and see.".
In all seriousness, game quality isn't reliant upon graphics. You're playing it, not sitting there staring at a picture. The 360's graphics are incredible, they're not shit just because PS3 is more powerful. I don't sit there looking at Bioshock on my 32-inch HD TV, thinking; "Oh for God's sake. Why isn't this slightly more defined? Can't f*cking play this.".

2. Doesn't play Blu-ray discs.
So what? Blu-ray isn't that much of an upgrade from DVDs to credibly be an arguable point. I buy my GAMES consoles to play GAMES.

3. Poor rendition on 1080p HD.
Not to my experience.

4. Noisy.
It's not noisy at all. A drill is noisy. Most PS3s are whisper quiet because the things are never f*cking on, because there are no bloody games out for it.

5. Poor shock resistance. RRoD once it gets tapped. lolwtf?
Poor shock resistance? Ok, let me take apart your claim in various ways, because for that, you deserve to be made to look thick.
1) Why would it need shock resistance? Are you planning on hitting it?
2) Although the claim of it getting red ring because it gets tapped is an exaggeration and false, why would you be tapping your console anyway? If I knew it got red ring from being tapped, I'd not tap it. Simple solution.
3) I'm growing increasingly convinced that 360s aren't actually prone to overloading. I'm convinced that there was either a bad patch or people are idiots. I have my 360 in a relatively confined space, with games resting on top of it, next to my Wii, below my DVD player shelf, which is below my TV itself. I haven't got the vents covered. I play my 360 a lot and I have had it was over a year, two years next...February maybe, March possibly. I've never, ever had any issues with it.

6. Misleading EULA warranty coverage.
I have 4 pals who own 360s. One of them got a permanent RRoD defect, and Microsoft refused to give him a replacement unit.
Why? Because he purchased the system here in Dubai. Warranty is covered only in North America and Europe. lolwut??
Why does that mean the console is worse at being a games console than the PS3?

I'm not bothered by Kazooie. I've seen the game and it's sucked anyway.
What I'm bothered is the fact that longtime PS exclusives, like FF, are being ported to the 360.
Yeah, you're bothered because you're the kind of idiot who buys into the argument of "Oh, the PS3 is so much more than a games console! It's an entertainment centre investment! It does everything!". Despite the fact that blu-ray players are gonna be dirt cheap eventually, and when the PS4 comes out, PS3 will be worth shit, like the PS2 before it and PS1 before that.
Consoles aren't investments. Investments are things you'll either never see again or items that grow in value and use over time.
This is inapplicable to consoles.
So no, you either prefer the PS3 or you don't, but don't sit there listing bs reasons as to why it's better as if they're fact. No PS3 fanboy has ever given me a legitimate, games-based reason why that console is better.
Probably because there isn't one. You can't argue for it besides "I prefer it.", and prefer what? M.G.S. 4?

The idea that the PS3 is graphically superior to the 360 is nothing more than myth. Look no further than to Fallout 3, which looks significantly better on the 360 than it does on the PS3, according to a playstation centered magazine: http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/17931/PlayStation-3-Mag-Fallout-3-Looks-Better-on-Xbox-360/
Also look to the gamespot review, the PS3 version is rated lower than the PC or 360 version.
In fact, most of the time, you will be hardpressed to notice any difference between graphically between the two platforms.
And why anyone but a ridiculous fanboy would be bothered by the idea of games being released onto multiple systems is beyond me. What an idiotic idea.
