The idea that the PS3 is graphically superior to the 360 is nothing more than myth. Look no further than to Fallout 3, which looks significantly better on the 360 than it does on the PS3, according to a playstation centered magazine: http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/17931/PlayStation-3-Mag-Fallout-3-Looks-Better-on-Xbox-360/Also look to the gamespot review, the PS3 version is rated lower than the PC or 360 version.
In fact, most of the time, you will be hardpressed to notice any difference between graphically between the two platforms.
And why anyone but a ridiculous fanboy would be bothered by the idea of games being released onto multiple systems is beyond me. What an idiotic idea.
it really depends on what games you play. Fallout 3 is a prime example of a multiplatform game that is developed on PC/360 and ported not so well onto PS3, not as crappy as Orange Box and other stuff.
But games like Burnout or any other developed on PS3 play good too, Mirror's Edge is supposedly developed on PS3 first. It's easier to make a game on a really powerful system then downgrade, rather than make it on an average system than try and beef everything up.
im not sure what the review for Fifa was but all i know is this year's ps3 version of fifa actually has its own physics engine different from the pc/360's engine.
cant believe this argument is still going on. bottom line is whatever system the game is developed for. it will be better on.
what the future holds is going to be different.
For PS3. CHANGE will come. Can we get great PS3 multiplatform games and more exclusives? YES WE CAN, no longer will PS3 owners be looked at as inferior. no longer. Equality and Progress is happening. Mirror's Edge first, and it will have a waterfall effect.

Dude, people have been saying change will come for the PS3 for nigh on two years.It... hasn't happened yet.
yeah? people were saying we'd never have an african american president since before we were born.
people have been saying Barack Obama would never be elected.
well look at what happened, for those who say PS3 will continue to be inferior, unequal, etc
or is this where you tell me my analogies are terrible again??

Your analogies ARE terrible.
Someone being elected president is not even remotely comparable to a video game system that lacks good games.

You have yet to come up with a single reason the PS3 is worth anyone's money that is not completely nonsensical, misunderstood, or just flat-out wrong.
Today's fits under the first option.

yep you are right, you are absolutely right. Save your money folks, dont get a PS3. its not worth anyones money.
🙄
dude, you have to look at things BEYOND what you see or read. Im not relating the PS3's troubles with an election, im relating it to something else initially the PS3 is struggling, but what you clearly overlooked is that progress will come and the PS3 will see equality in terms of multiplatform games, something that shouldve been made equal in quality since the start (think about that, what in humanity has been considered and treated unequal?), it will see more exclusives, as well, this shows the systems strengthes and differences. Times are changing, progress is being made, the potential is definately there.
ofcourse we cant deny some of you dont want things to change.
im not saying video games and what ive indirectly touched upon are the same, im saying you should take a look at them. initial struggle, progress, and change.
God Bless

PS3 hasn't proven anything it has promised.
What has it honestly given you? Metal Gear Solid 4? Is that honestly it?
Why do you care so much about whether potential is there or not? You can't sit there playing potential, potential doesn't justify a mega price tag, fulfilled potential does. Something PS3 has none of.

Are you really that ridiculous?
The PS3 has had 2 years to prove it's something other than an expensive paperweight and has yet to do so. Most people are a little sick of waiting for this big stuff Sony fans claim will happen but never has.
Deal with it.

Also, if you want to try the "cheap bluray player" cry as a last resort, Nixson, don't bother. It's very easy to find a bluray player for significantly cheaper than a PS3 now. So it doesn't even have that going for it anymore.
So, no decent games and an expensive disc player and more and more exclusives being taken away, as well as no backwards compatibility available for it.
What exactly does the system have going for it?
Yep. I am currently playing the single player campaign and I am facing off against camouflaged Chimera in a jungle who are barely noticible until they are in your face. Thank god I kept the shotty.
It is also quite amazing how Insomniac has managed to keep 60 players shooting each other lag free. i will try the coop later, but from what has been stated in reviews the coop is probably the best option...and that is hard to accept given the quality of the campaign and multi.
