Actually, we really are discussing the PS3's shortcomings more than the Wii. I certainly haven't said anything about it in a while; I don't even own one, as I know I've said many times.
However, let's look at things.
Sales-wise, the Wii is dominating by a large margin. It was sold out for ages at launch. It has remained scarce to find until only a couple of months ago. It is starting to become harder to find again. It has sold the most systems of any of the current consoles, and has yet to reach any sort of sales plateau. It still sells for a large amount online.
Meanwhile, the PS3 sold strongly at launch. It went on ebay for double the price it cost. It was very difficult to find. For about a week or two. Sales very quickly dropped and it became very easy to find. It got poor reviews. Most people who've bought it have flat-out stated they got it because it was a decent blu-ray player. The system finally starts to pick up on sales and get better reviews when Sony cuts the prices, though this also has the backlash effect of confusing and angering consumers, because of the removal of backwards compatibility, and the fact that Sony has never actually officially said what any of the features the new versions have (or don't). Every time sales drop again, they discontinue whatever model is out and release a new one.
They do this because they are still selling on a huge loss with this system, and are not making enough sales in games to make up any of this loss. And the majority of people who buy the PS3 don't ever even play games on it.
Also, I'm not really sure, as all I can find is lists and I don't feel like counting each individual game, but I'm pretty sure the Wii does have a larger library. If you include VC, then it most definitely does.
Gameplay quality is down to the developers. Nintendo's first-party games have always been known for being excellent in every way. Sony really rides more on their third-party developers than anything else. And I'm sure that the number of actual stand-out titles on the PS3 can also be counted with one hand.

Erm, no. While it is true that we are the moderators of this forum, that does not mean that we are not allowed to discuss things as regular posters do. In fact you'll notice it's very, very clear when we are posting as mods, as opposed to posting as a regular person. We are allowed to take part in any debates we want, taking whatever side we want.
And we have every right to discuss the fact that, despite technology, the PS3 is showing to be an inferior system. We've got every right to express that opinion, especially when cold hard fact backs it up. And we have every right to point out the holes in the arguments you come up with.
This isn't a full-time, 24 hour a day job. We only put on the modhats when people do things that require us to do so.
And how is it any more one-sided than the comments you make? Especially considering the fact that you don't have any facts to back them up?
