What you can do, if you don't want to shell out for an HDTV is buy the VGA cable that allows you to play it on your computer monitor, which supports HD. It only costs 40 bucks. My friend does this and the games look really sharp.

No idea about laptops, should check that out for yourself.

But yeah, hooking it up to a monitor is simple, just as simple as hooking a monitor up to a PC. The controllers work fine and everything.

If this article is true then I don't see why EB games or Gamestop would even sell PS3 stuff. Most of their business profit is because of buy back items. Not very smart if Sony goes with this idea.

To be honest, Sony hasn't been acting very smart with the PS3 in general. Let's take a look, shall we?

Even if that does happen it would take you a week to download your games so download all you want when you can easily go buy the game you want.

Yes, I'm a Sony hater because I own PS1 and PS2 and want to like PS3, Sony's making it really hard though, so far.

Downloadable games is a meaningless point. Downloadable games won't become the norm for sometime, if ever. A lot of people like going out and buying the game and owning the Box and the CD and actually be able to hold it. It has jack shit to do with their stupid idea of not allowing used games for their system.
