xbox360: ive seen what these can do, and they're no pushover..
ps3: no idea, but they're going to be too expensive for me anyway..
wii: cheap, hopefully has good games that are on all consoles (like that new marvel thing) and smash bros brawl...😄

Xbox 360 = High Quality system with games to match. A good all around system that hardcores and casuals will enjoy. Will be to this generation what the PS2 was to last generation.
Wii = The most purely innovative and daring system to come out in years, if successful you will see Sony and Microsoft copying many of it's innovations (Sony already is with their half assed attempt at ripping Nintendo's controller off).
PS3 = Overexpensive with no launch titles that will justify the cost. Will be very powerful and will eventually have good games, but not until next year. The least intriguing and impressive system from a gameplay standpoint. The only thing that's immediately intrituing about this system is a curiousity of whether or not people will shell out 600 dollars for a video game system. Is to this generation what the Xbox was to last generation -- A powerful system but lacking exclusive killer apps -- also too expensive for the casual market, which will be dominated by the Wii and the 360.

What's funny is that I was watching E3 and in a poll only 11% voted for Ps3, 24% for the 360, and a whopping 65% for the Wii. Strange, considering that one is FOR(learn to spell, retard) little kids and the other is DOG (again learn to spell) shit. Conclusion: you suck at life.

But I don't have a High Def TV, well not in my room, anyway. So I'm wondering if anybody else plays their 360 on a regular television and if it's still worth it to get one without using high def.

I play it on a normal TV right now. Everything still looks very good, though if you play it on a HDTV it makes a big difference in some games.
What you can do, if you don't want to shell out for an HDTV is buy the VGA cable that allows you to play it on your computer monitor, which supports HD. It only costs 40 bucks. My friend does this and the games look really sharp.

Let's take a moment to review what we know about the PS3 so far:
Most obvious, most disgruntling, and most harmful to business for Sony - $600 price point. WTF?
Well, of course there's the two price points. Curious, as the 360 used this, and waves of Sony fanboys cried, "That's so stupid! What a dumb idea! Two price points?!"
What do you get for the half thousand dollar version? Nothing, when compared to the $600 system. Has Sony left you with an option to ugrade your $500 to get it to be just like a $600 somewhere down the road? No, because you can't add hardware to your system. You probably shouldn't have bought the $300 360, and you sure as hell won't want to buy the $500 Playstation.
Now, let's take a look at the contoller. First, they show off their boomerang. Gamers scream in protest (rightfully so, mind you). Sony understands.
They reveal their new controller.
WTF? Why are you showing me a shiny new PS2 controller?
"Oh, but look! It has some motion sensing abilities. Not complete, but some of it is there!"
So far, you've got the two price points, and the half-assed motion sensor controller. I'm beginning to sense a pattern.
The games aren't looking so hot either. Anybody have a decent launch title they're excited to get?

They've lost GTA exclusivity, and a game that looks to actually be decent (Assassin's Creed) may just lose it's exclusivity as well.
Online play. Obviously, Sony's going to have to step it up. In what way?
Well, they've already stolen the two-tiered price points and the motion-sensing controller. I think we can expect an Xbox Live rip-off, so be prepared. They have no decent, exclusive games to speak of (except, to be fair, the Final Fantasy game), and their price point is through the roof.
I tell ya', if the PS3 is the future of gaming, than the future is a damn dark place indeed...
