They'res a few games coming out for the 360 like Too Human and Gears Of War (both I think christmas), gears of war looks amazing. Out of all three, the 360 is the only console that has really amazing titles coming out, because its already been out.
I also never wanted an 360, but Ghost Recon looked to good to pass up and Gears Of War looks that promising. I would say this Darth, for the money it would cost to get an PS3, the XBOX looks like a great deal, especially considering all the major games that was suppose to be exclusive like GTA4 and Resident Evil 5 are also coming out on the 360. And the graphics look just as good as the PS3's.
Go with your gut dude, but the XBOX isnt that bad of an system, especially when it comes down to the cost.
well the 360 graphics are at this moment in time similar to the ps3... but give the ps3 a year after a release and the graphics wont be nearly as good. developers know what they can do with the 360, but they're still discovering new ways with the ps3. i am really tempted... i really fancy nba2k6... the graphics look stunning.

I'd follow Inner Rise's advice; don't get that combo box, but do get a 360. If none of the games out right now tickle your fancy, wait for the coming months as more and more games are produced.
If I was going to pick one of the games in that combo box, I'd choose Call of Duty 2, which you can always buy seperately.

The Wii has already stated that it won't be attempting to compete with the two other systems graphics/power wise, so it didn't come out early when compared to the Wii.
The PS3? Well, we all knew it would be a powerhouse to begin with, but I suppose you could say the 360 came out early relative to the PS3. However, Sony's shot themselves in the foot with their $600 pricepoint, so I don't think the 360 coming out earlier is going to effect its success much.
In fact, I think quite the opposite. By the time the PS3 comes out, the 360 will have an established base of fans, along with an established game library. The Wii will have (probably) come out by then, or it will be coming out in a week/few weeks.

And a year is not sufficient time for developers to know what a 360 can do. Just look at games that came out seven months after the PS2 came out (games haven't been coming out for a year yet for the 360). The games that came out at the end of its life, the good ones--they were amazing (graphic-wise) compared to the old ones. Additionally, the PS2 was always said to be the weakest of the three systems, graphics-wise, but I say it could produce some pretty damn decent graphics when it want to.

myself? i'm not really worried about graphics as they are'nt what you play... its gameplay which is important for me. which is why i really want a wii... and not a bathroom visit😛
also a couple of people i know have or are getting 360's, so online play will be utilised.

Not really. Both developers dont know how to utilize and one year after the release date, the deleopers still dont know yet. It takes atleast 2-3 years to fully use the whole system.
Also, the PS3 graphics will better but not $200 dollars more better.
Also, I would asume the PS3 will need an HDTV even more than the 360 also.
NBA 2k6 is a great game, but dont buy it. Dont buy any of the 2k games. They're filled with gamestopping bugs. My NBA game has frozen every 3 games or so. So dont buy it. Wait until 2k7 comes out. It's even starting to freeze during the menu.
Just google XBOX 360 NBA 2k6 freeze problems, and you'll see what I mean.

Havnt played it, but from reviews, it's stable, the graphics are fantastic, but the gameplay aint as good as NBA 2k6, but if you really want an NBA game, you have to go Live.
That freezing problem is really bad, and it will literally be the end of your TV from controller throwing.
I traded it in twice, and the second copy was better than the first with freezes happening once every 3-4 games (but in random order), while the first copy, I couldnt even get in the second quarter.
2k Sports should seriously get in shit for this because all thier games are all ****ed up. I hate it when somebody says its the XBOX's fault.
It doesnt help that customer service for 2k Sports is pathetic.

I personally hated XBOX's last generation, but I bought an 360 and I'm really impressed with the system. Especially, XBOX Live.
But with games like Lost Planet, Gears Of War coming out, I cant see myself ever not owning one.

Ya im planning on buying a 360 when the price drops in Christams time and I will buy it with Gears of War.. that game is sick droolio
For the past two days the weather in my area has been scortching HOT! So I finally decided to snap on the Intercooler permanently to my 360. It's been doing a fine job! My console doesn't get hot and haven't experience any software issues during game time. I didn't like the idea of buying and extra gadget for my 360. But it's been worth it. 👆
