Brand loyality is nothing anymore. They're will be people buying every console, but the price, lack of games and the overall Sony attitude will probalby affect Sony's buying power. Dont forget that the 360 is already out with killer games coming very soon.
Tilt sensor feature is an joke. They're is no games that are coming out that will use it aside from Warhawk and alot of the games like MGS4 and UT07 fall in the same category that you described with Nintendo games.
Also, UT07 is also out on the PC, and I think will come to the XBOX and Assassins Creed is more than likely coming out on the XBOX also.

Nintendo has been the handheld leader since the beginning so it's going to get more support then the PSP a newcomer.
Killer games what Gears of War I think it will sell less because I highly doubt that game will be a system killer when your talking about the PS brand.Prey,N3,and Dead Rising games that were hyped weren't that good.The tilt sensor is no joke it can do a lot more then the 360 controller.MGS is made by Konami not Sony because Sony made God of War a new series and the companies that support them make new game like Jak,Rachet,Sly,and now Resistance with the new Naoguty Dog game.
UT07 and Assassins Creed are heading to the 360 but who cares Gears of War and Halo 3 do not impress me those are the 2 games Microsoft hope will be a killer app the rest they don't care.
