To Change the Subject back -
I just read a scripture from The Book of Mormon in seminary this morning (a class for kids in the grades 9 - 12). I doubt many of you have The Book of Mormon, so I will quote it for you. It is - 2 Nephi 25:26 and it reads: "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."
This tells us that we believe in Christ and then some. 🙂

here is my favorite scripture, it's kinda long but it's good.

Behold, ye are littel children, and ye cannot bear all things now;ye must grow in grace and in the knowledge of the truth.

Yes, I am saying that his religion made him more self-loathing than other religions do. And you can call me ignorant, but I don't believe the words of a man that created a religion based on his encounters with god, and then eight years later applied for membership in the methodist church.

Your religion is a pyramid scheme of the highest order. Normally I don't bash people for their religion, and I'm not really bashing you personally....more your religion. It's crap. I don't care how many names you call me, I don't care what kind of bullshit arguments you can come up with to justify your beliefs. It's a crap religion that supports racism, sexism, hate and intolerance.

It's a cult, developed by a criminal that knew he could feed and profit off the ignorance of others. People of this faith are like the old addage about the osterich that sticks it's head in the sand.

As for the paragraph you're arguing with in my first post, that's right off the link I posted. Clearly, you didn't check it out. Which is typical of every mormon I've met. Remain uneducated to the truth, and you'll be a mormon for life. Good job
