Just for the record, if missionaries come back every six months, it's probably a new pair. Missionaries don't stay in exactly the same place for two years, they move around to different districts. So it might be two missionaries who have no idea you asked the others not to come back.
Lol, one good thing about Utah, is that the Jahova's witnesses have pretty much given up hope on us. They've finally left us to burn. You'll rarely ever see them going door to door here, at least in the suburbs where I live.
Oh, and if a Jahova's witness trys to convert you, talk to them about how they believe that only 40,000 (or something like that) people will be saved. Ask them how they know they're not like, member 40,001, or how they know what your number will be. 😆

It's funny, you mock us mormons, and everything, but yet you sit here and act immature posting comments like that. I find it quite funny how you'll degrade us, but what respect should we have for you? I've done my best to tolerate people like you in this world, but nobody anymore can seem to grow up enough to respect their neighbor. The ignorance of this world shall bring a fire that no water can put out. This forum is getting infested with people who hate the church, would rather ignore what we're trying to explain to them, because they're so stiffed necked, and hard at their hearts they think they know the church better than we do. I guess when they say "ignorance is bliss" you people must really be happy. Well, I am glad for you that you are happy for the way you people live. Who are you talking to? I wish you had used quotes or named names, but as it is, you are either talking about everyone, which means you are condemning innocent people. Or you are talking about a few ignorant people, in that case they will not put 2 and 2 together, and just think you were talking about someone else. In ether case you might as well be talking to yourself.

There is a lot of ignorance in this world...and we have to deal with a lot of it because of the faith we have chosen to have. You don't have to take any of the things people say to heart.
I dunno, maybe it's easier to ignore the facts that people hate Mormons when you live in Utah, but where I'm from I deal with it every day. Yes, some comments can sting, some are pretty unfair, and some are genuine curiosity, but you can't give up because it seems like a fight that can't be won. It's not true, we're not here fighting anyone. We're here to be an example. We're here to show the value that our church holds for us. We're here because we have an outlet to share what we believe and even if there are blunt distractions and ridicule from every direction, we at least strengthen one another by sticking together and backing each other up. We need your faith Ramses. Don't give up just yet.

People are just saying hurtful things on both ends. There isn't too much of an attempt to understand either point of view....so it just got sticky there for awhile....but I understand that it is hard to fully understand what someone is saying while online because you don't hear the tone of voice in which they are saying everything...so it leaves things open to interpretation.

Oh...and I just got home from parading. I'm so frickin exhausted. We got up at 2:45am and went out to the French Quarter and were on Good Morning America. We were in the background of the Emeril segment...as well as the end of the show when they had the jazz band playing.

I am so worn out...I can barely keep my eyes open, but I wanted to check to see how things were going in here. I might just fall down as soon as I try to get up. I'm hoping I can make it to my bed. I was on my feet for over 10 hours...and then I stuffed myself at my Aunt's barbeque. I'm like....blaaaaaahhhhhhh!
