Night and Day
We’re told to pray both day and night
Over our meals, and at meetings too
These are all the times we should pray, Right?
Nay, we should always pray, all night and all day.
Keep this prayer in your heart
Say it with all your might, mind, and strength
This prayer, should always be part
Of your day, keep it forever, all night and all day.
Having this prayer helps more then you know
Always will you be ready to the spirit listen
As in your life, the spirit directs you were to go,
Keep him with you this way, all night and all day.
Unspoken this prayer often is
God can still hear it, because it’s in your heart
One thing you should remember is this
God hears you when you pray, all night and all day.
No matter when, and no matter where
Have with you this simple prayer
God will always hear it, because he’s there

She likes him, he likes her
Are they together? No, sir.
Why not? You ask them many times
So they answer with these Rhymes

Be Your Best
Be your best in all that you can
That is part of the fathers plan
Do what you can, from day to day
Just do everything in your best way
Try your hardest and never give up
Remember it was Christ that drank the bitter cup
He did it so we could always be
Our best selves, the best you, the best me
Can anything good come from me
Yes! You just need to look deep to see
What it is, search yourself and you will find
What makes you the best, revealed in your mind
Just remember to be the best you can
It helps complete the fathers plan
If we all will just do our best
The fathers love will make up the rest
To make it back to our father someday
We must do our best from day to day
Helping others in all that you do
Helping people like me, and people like you
Seek God’s help, and help he will
You’ll become your best, but be better still
Everyday as you begin to grow
Your best gets better, just so you know
Though practice makes perfect, we are told
Just doing our best will keep us in God’s fold
Eventually out best will become, sin free
We would be perfect like Christ, you see
Never let a minute go by
Where you don’t try
To be the best person you can be
To help others become better, others like me
This is the message given to me now
Become my best, although I’m not sure how
All things can be done through the Lord
I’ll do my best, and never get bored
I need my father most every hour
He gives me strength, he gives me power
Him I’ll seek every chance I receive
Until my soul is at relieve
Even then will I continue to work
No longer be this lazy jerk
Serve the Lord the best I can
Be the best I can be, a better man
Many years have passed now, I’ve grown old
Since I was first this story told
I followed its counsels, every day
And have become my best in every way
Proud of me my father is now
I became my best, although I didn’t know how
Now I ask if you will too
Become the very best you
God will bless you very great
Being your best is part of your fate
Your best will grow every day
Keep up to date and he will say
My sons, my daughters, whom I love so great
You all did your best, so this is your fate
You can live with me forever and ever
And become like me, perfected forever

Why?
I care so much, more then most
It is something I don’t like to boast
The question that I ask, is why?
Why do I care so much,
Why do I have such a loving touch
Why do I help those in need
Questions like this I needn’t ask
The answer I know is simple see
Unlike others I do not hide behind a mask
When I help others, it’s just me
Let them think what they want
I’ll help them still no matter what
Let them think I’m out to gain
I’ll help them still no matter what
What if I were to quit
Just give up, say that’s it
Stop helping others everyday
Become a jerk in my own way
Not stopping to help those in need
I’d become a jerk through my deeds
This is something I cannot do
I care to much about people like you
Loving care is a gift from me
To everybody that I see
I’ll share this gift from God
He blessed me with it, it’s rather odd
No matter how much pain I take
It only helps me care more with every breath I take
This gift I’ll use most everday
God gave it to me, and so I say
I’ll spread your love through word and deed
To prove I love you, that you are a friend indeed
To call you a friend it is so great to do
No longer a servant, bringing things to you
Being an equal, a friend so true
Is something that must be hard to do
I love you so very much
You love me more then very much
You love me enough to make sure I grow
Through trials and sufferings this I know
For my own good is everything
Nothing bad can happen when your in my life
You help overcome all my grief and strife
I’ll try my best to return one day
To hear the words you’ve been waiting to say

To ask such a question as to why
Is something that will be answered when I die
The answer is something we cannot see
