Propaganda isn't always negative. In fact much like the word cult individuals have placed their own emotional emphasis on the word.

Any information you spread for a purpose is propaganda. This that You're readin right now is propaganda, I'm attempting to spread inforamation so that it is understood that propaganda is not always bad. Advertisements are also propaganda. They are information spread for the purpose of promoting a cause. Its the life blood of a business.
