Is Superman the ultimate Superhero?

I've already said this before, if this is about power than of course Supes beats Spidey. But then Supes still wouldn't take the top spot because there are more powerful characters out there. & that last part is part of the reason why Spidey's seen as way cooler. He's always been known as a guy who only has serious problems while in costume. Spidey is always facing trouble regardless

Both Surfer and Spidey are motivated by guilt. Also by your logic then Moon Night of Green Arrow must be greater heroes than Spiderman.

spiderman in their crossover was constantly looking up to superman, and motivated himself on that belief... a major hint of the relationship of spiderman and superman and their characters in general, superman is a leader, spiderman is the eager trooper with much to give... so they are both good in their own ways... stop this bickering

i got their first crossover, which includes superman taking on the hulk and fighting doctor doom as well... and also fighting lex luthor and doc ock too, also their own fight when superman pulls his punch causing a whirlwind effect, knocking spiderman across the city

Me too. Haven't read it in a while. Will check on it next time I return to the city. I do remember Spidey saving Supes bacon though. Wouldn't surprise me if Spidey was looking up to him though. Spidey looks up to almost all his elders Cap & Bats(in their crossovers) included

Superman is by far not the most heroic. I would give that title to SPider Man or Batman, or rather someone who is as susceptable to bullets as us regular humans.

actually superman has fought many guys who can kill him, he just carries on fighting because he is one of the bravest, like when he broke into hell, and started fighting everything, or when he fights darksied, a guy who could leave him in the torture of his magic for eternity but he never backs down... is it me or are u dumb?

well by saving superman you mean everybody because superman held it from prematurely blowing up while spiderman was trying to turn it off... also known as team work, bruv

i think thats a rather narrow view... he took on doomsday when doomsday had defeated the justice league, TWICE...

he even lost his life so that more people wouldnt die...

the dangers he faces may not be from bullets or bombs, but they exist, and they are as capable of killing him as a bullet is of killing batman...

and batman isnt even that heroic, he's driven by vengeance...

superman helps people simply because he chooses to... with no regard for his own safety most of the time...

One of the reasons Superman is the ultimate Superhero is that he saves live and saves the day and all that for no hidden personal reason. Other superheroes do it for revenge of lost loved ones or some thing that they have to vindicate.
