😆 Don't remember. Spidey also won the Greatest Of All Time award in Wizard. & those guys are in love w/Batman. Supes was on Maxim's lamest superheroes list. Spidey cool as a mofo. Put him around a lame like Supes & now Spidey looks even cooler by comparison. Why do you think Bats always looks so damn cool?

If Superman got that outfit changed, I bet he'd have more fans.....

besides if superman can withstand a blast from darksides OE (Omega Effect)

Darkseid's main power is the Omega Effect, a form of energy that he fires from his eyes. It is not only a relentless attack, but it is also capable of teleporting the target to any location Darkseid chooses and recall them later or erase the target from the universe and similarly reform them. Darkseid has pinpoint control over his Omega Beams, and his unerring aim allows it to travel in straight lines or bend, twist, or curve around corners. The Omega Effect can apparently pass through matter and energy. In the third part of the Hunter/Prey storyline, he claimed that no being had yet withstood the full force of the Omega Effect, but Doomsday nonetheless survived the attack. Both Superman and the Cyborg Superman have also withstood a blast from the Omega Beams, but with severe pain and damage as a result. The full might of the Omega Effect has even had some effect on the Spectre himself. Darkseid's third son Grayven uses a weaker version of the Omega Effect.

then a little ki attack wont do much to him not only that but his strength is unmatched by goku as proven by this quote

Also, in the Infinite Crisis comic series, Superman (Kal-el) fought with an interdivisional version of himself (Kal-L). The both of them realized that they had to let loose with everything they had in order to prevail against the other, which they did. The blows that they inflicted on each other (not actually hitting the planet surface directly) met with such force that the shockwaves they produced not only tore the planet they were fighting on/near to shreds (in fact, I think they may have atomized it by the end, I can't quite remember), but actually created tears through time and space, causing events from both Supermen’s past and the future to manifest before other hero/villain groups throughout the galaxy. I tried to find some scans of this fight - I've seen them before - but I don’t have time at the moment to keep looking.

clearly if superman can atomize a planet just by fighting someone he is the best

I'm sick and tired of everyone saying that Superman was the first hero.

The Phantom was the first hero.He started it all.He was the first with a skin tight suit, and the first with a mask with no visible pupils. He is the legend. That's why the legend behind him is "The Ghost Who Walk,The Man Who Cannot Die."

For the record,I'm not saying Superman is the worst or the best, just saying he isn't the first.

He wasn't the first. He is the greatest there is, thought.

Nope. That title belongs to Captain Jack Sparrow matey.

I'll bet if Superman ever fought Wolverine, the writers would make it a tied match.

superman was the first "hero" to be given the title "superhero" he's the first named "superhero", yes he is not the first hero, but is the first "superhero",simple!

No he prolly isn't actually.

Well, the first heroes to have secret identities were probably Zorro and the Green Hornet, but I believe the first masked hero made for comic books was The Clock. However, Superman certainly took comic book heroes to a new level.

To a super-hero level.

True, but before then there were tales of superpowered heroes, such as Heracles, Gilgamesh, and other mythological figures. Even the Shadow had super powers. So Superman may not be the original superhero, but he's the first super-powered hero to appear in comic books. That's something, I guess. He also defined the "truth, justice, and the American way" attitude of superheroes and set the pants-over-tights trend.

Na Goku, Spiderman, Sentry and most marvel heroes are true heroes. Superman is just a generic man with powers comin out his ass

Spiderman is as generic as they come too. Goku shares essentially the same persona as Superman. Your talking about powers coming out the bum, THATS GOKU.
