Why would J.K. Rowling put Hermione and Harry together?

rique28 , wrote that big story on page 3 .....................all the evidence was 4 h/hr wich personally i dnt agree with ....but some1 like me could write the same story (with evidence ) to make it ron and hermione being in love , its all about what your own opinions are and the most sensible evidence , now it,l be ron /hrmione 4 love because if you,ve read the books its just so obvious ,and ron already plays the least part out of the trio ,imagine if h/hr got together you might as welll just wave good bye to poor ron ,coz he,d obviously be outshadowed by h/hr .....so no ron &hermione all the way

Well, I DO see H/Hr together and I don't see Ron and Hermoine becoming a couple because they've been fighting for the past 6 books and if JK wanted them to hook up, it should've happened in either GOF or OOTP but she missed that opportunity. Plus (to Sammii), I can say the same thing about Harry because if R/Hr did happen, he'll be the one that's overshadowed...bye bye Harry.

hermione fights w/ everyone. plus, there r these 2 guys who fight w/ me and r mean 2 me all the time and they like me. and i think harry cud go back to ginny after voldemorts over and if harry doesn't die, lol.

Yeah JKR said herself in an interview that it was Ron and Hermione. I mean Harry wasn't jelouse that Hermione went to the Yule Ball with Krum, yet Ron was.

Harry could never be overshadowed, it's Harry Potter and..... not Ron Weasley and.... or Hermione Granger and ......

Harry is the main character, to say he would be overshadowed By R/Hr is not supported.

I am SO with YOU! thumbup I mean, there's MORE of a connection between Hermionie and Ron. Honestly. DO you see it? Ron was sooo jeleouls that Viktor got Hermionie and Hermionie was telling him off because he should've asked her first AND she was crying about it.

I don't think Harry would be pushed out of the way or overshadowed by R/Hr. It's the background thing not what the book or movie is based on. Like Starwars. There's Laya and Hons Solo together(6), but that's not the whole story's based on. It's MAINLY about Luke defeathing the Sith. I think that's also going to happen to Harry Potter. Ron and Hermione's love there not being the point of the book, Harry trying to defeat Voldemort. And they'll still be there for him like in Starwars. It's not like the whole book's going to be based on R/Hr's love and they'll forget about Harry. But that's just IMO.

i never thought that h/hr could evn exist. well maybe for the first couple of books but after that it was pretty much just them being friends. look at when harry took a liking to cho chang in the 4 and 5 book she wasnt jealous at all then . now look at the 6 book, ron start goin out wit lavender and she blows a casket. but when Harry goes out wit Ginny hermione's fine with it. so look at the signs and you can see wat jk rowling is forming... a relationship between 2 good friends RON and HERMIONE. no one else and also, if harry doesn't die in the seventh book, its HARRY and GINNY. no one else for harry those wil be the matches. and thats wat i think.

She put them together because its HER F*CKIN BOOK. She can do whatever the hell she wants. I still don't understand why the hell it matters if Harry is with Hermione or Ginny or Hedwig(lol) or whoever the f*ck else. As long as its not "Snape and Hermione" or "Harry and Umbridge" or "Harry and Neville" or anything else ridiculous like that, why the hell should it matter. You guys care about this more than the friggen plot itself. 😐
