DD has beaten Spiderman several times rather ultimately. Have you read the early Daredevil issue with teh Masked Marauder? DD beat Spidey (with both of them fighting their best) by spinning him around a post on his billy club wire. And then DD went and beat the Masked Marauder and his men.
That's toughness if you ask me.
