Having a Joker origin is the shittiest thing since Tom Larham...

Tim burton is a whore and a hack. Burton bastardized the first two movies about the Dark Knight because he wanted to give it his "signature goth image" style that he thinks is what makes him a damn "artist". Batman doesnt kill. Thats first and foremost why I hate that Burton directed these films. Joker and Penguin would never have been allowed to die. Plus, correct meif Im wrong, but isnt Bats also the wolds greatest DETECTIVE??? What did Batman detect in Burtons films? Nada. Zip. Nothing. I can go on and on all day, but I will wrap up and say that Tim Burton is even worse of a Batman director than Joel Schumacher.

LOL.that is so true about Tim Burton. 😆 🤣 😂 😆 thats even better than the way I have bashed him in the past. 👆 🤘 thats pretty much what I have always said about him only Impediment said it much funnier than I ever have. 😆

I agree with you about that Rafkins.Yeah I agree with Rafkins on that Silverstein.I wouldnt go THAT far and saying that Nightmare Before Christmas is his ONLY good film he has made.I agree with Rafkins that Edward Scissorhands was a good film of his as well along with Ed Wood also. I've said it before and I'll say it again,Tim Burton needs to stay away from classic material such as batman, planets of the apes and Willie Wonka cause he just ruins and destroys classic work like that when he does. 😠 On the other hand, when he makes his OWN stuff such as the films Rafkins and Silverstein mentioned, well he's a pretty good film maker then.

Nightmare before Christmas HAS to be 1 of my favourite films... at the other end of the scale, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of my least favouritefilms. It was terrible... absolutely god-awful!

I agree, Willy Wonka was AWFUL! I'd take the original with Gene Wilder any day of the week over that weird-ass Wonka Tim Burton created by using a distorted Johnny Depp on crack...

Ed Wood on the other hand was an amazing film, love it SO much!

Burton does kinda need to stick to his own stuff... I mean I'm kinda torn on Sleepy Hollow, its a great movie but Johnny Depp looks nothing like Icabod Crane... but still, I rather watch Johnny Depp for 2 hours as Icabod than someone who looks like the real one any day!

Is there anone who DOESNT lke Nighmare BeforeChristmas... and what's Scissorhands and Corpse Bride like?

Edward Scissorhands is an amazing film, I can't describe it you just have to see it... and I didn't care much for Corpse Bride, it was like he had taken a bit of all his films, claymated them and had Danny Elfman write a few songs for it... it was cute don't get me wrong, just unnecessary... I'm glad Wallace and Gromit won at the Oscars and not Corpse Bride.

Curse of the Were Rabbit was KICK ASS, but still no match for a Close Shave or The Wrong Trousers...

Yeah it is an amazing film just like Nightmare before christmas is.I never got around to seeing Bride,I assume you didnt like it anywhere near as much as Nightmare huh?

by the way, something else I forgot to mention on why Im afraid of you.I have heard rumors your REALLY jennifer walters-AKA SHE-HULK.you being crazy and all,if I get you upset,I can punch you quite a few times and it will only stagger you a bit,you however, when you lose your temper and turn green, all you got to do is connect just once to my face, and Peter Parker is history. 😂 So I think you can understand why Im REALLY afraid of you. 😆

Eeeee... She Hulk's HOT

Corpse Bride sucked. The plot sucked, and the film felt way too short. It tried to be Nightmare Before Christmas again, and failed.

The Burton Batmans would have been better if Bats didn't kill, I tell you that.

I agree wholeheartedly about Burtons...

Hearing that,I'll probably just rent it from the libraray for free.

No question it would have been much better if he had not killed. That and casting someone who actually fit the part of Bruce wayne and had a muscular build. That was the worst part about the Burton Batman movies was that he killed people.Especially The Joker his arch enemy. That just betrayed everything about the comic.I would not have minded him killing his goons if there had been no choice in no other way out for him, that was the only time he ever killed in the comics was when there was no other way out and he had no choice, but to do so in such cowardly fashion like he did like sending in the Batmobile by remote control and dropping a bomb in front of all The Jokers goons like that,or turning his batmobile around to deliberately blast that goon of the penguins with fire from his exhaust pipes, that was just so unbatman Etrigan. His actions made him even worse than the criminals. 😠 I just had a feeling when he killed The Joker in the first Batman film that the same would happen with The Penguin. That was indeed the worst sin of his movies having Batman kill people in such cowardly ways. 😠 The movie might as well have been called The Punisher.

its strange that so many Batman fans don't support Bob Kane's opinion. He was always there during the making of the film and he loved it. We can't say if he would have loved or hated the other films. But one fact remains...Bob Kane loved Batman '89.

As did Anne Rice with Interview with the Vampire, but was it completely to the novel? No... was it still a great and amazing film? Yes... just let it go already!

I mean Batman '89 was no Interview with the Vampire but it wasn't Queen of the Damned either... being forsaken by its own creator... Stuart Townsend strutting around with fangs and the wrong hair color and accent... why god, WHY! Fangs doesn't make you Lestat! WHY!!!!

Anyway... yeah I'd rate Batman Forever close to a Queen of the Damned disaster... Begins is closer to Interview proportion with its more to the comic qualities... but once again, if Bob Kane liked the first then who are we to say different?

Sorry about the Anne Rice rant... I guess I'm just still trying to grieve after she left all us loyal fans to pursue less important literary venues... like writing an entire fictional novel about the way she thinks Jesus lived his life... I mean who gives a damn! That's why its not in the damn bible to begin with, it obviously wasn't important to the people who wrote it, so why should she care?

Bob Kane can think whatever he wants. And we fans, not being robots or zombie slaves, can ignore him. Nothing strange about it (really, the Batman stories by Kane that I've read aren't all that good, IMO, even compared to other comics of the day).

Why shold we agree with Bob? I suppot Liverpool but Do I agree with every decsion Raphael Benitez-or more to the point, Gerrd Houllier makes- no! Th batman stories have EVOLVED ast Kane, a better person to judge would be someonelike Loeb..

Is a killing Batman such a bad thing? It is self defense. Police officers kill people every day. If someone tries to kill me, I'll kill him or hurt him really really bad. There's nothing wrong with self defense. And it saves money since the criminal doesn't go in prison. I can see why people hate Burton's batfilms, but I really find it quite immature that they don't respect people who like it and Tim Burton himself. Mr Parker, we see your point and understand it. Now, you could stop saying the same thing everytime or say it again but with more respect. Personnaly, I like Burton's batfilms and Batman Returns is equally as good as Batman Begins. Calling Tim Burton a whore or things like that because he did movies you didn't like is non sence to me. I really don't like pokemon but I won't bash the guy who created them cause I know alot of people like them and I respect that. Here's an example: I love cheese cake. Your mother makes a cheese cake and I taste it and it's really bad even tho other people like it. I won't call her a whore because I don't like it and I won't say it's a disgrace to cheese cakes. I would just explain that it's missing some ingredient and never mention it again cause there is no point in talking about it afterwards. People telling there opinion is great IF and only if they say it properly and respect people who think otherwise.

Umm... but whether YOU would kill someone isnt the point! Andd the "if I kill this guy it saves money" thing is sadistic and evil. You may as well kill your brother to inherit more cash...

Batman is a hero, Alec. He's supposed to act better then the average person.
