regardless of the whole tired Batman-Burton-opinions-hate debate, I thought that example was frikkin' hilarious. You forgot to mention "your mom should be shot." 😆

There's nothing wrong with self defense. And it saves money since the criminal doesn't go in prison. I can see why people hate Burton's batfilms, but I really find it quite immature that they don't respect people who like it and Tim Burton himself. Mr Parker, we see your point and understand it. Now, you could stop saying the same thing everytime or say it again but with more respect. Personnaly, I like Burton's batfilms and Batman Returns is equally as good as Batman Begins. Calling Tim Burton a whore or things like that because he did movies you didn't like is non sence to me. I really don't like pokemon but I won't bash the guy who created them cause I know alot of people like them and I respect that. Here's an example: I love cheese cake. self defense? thats a laugh. His life was never in danger when he killed those jokers goons dude or those penguin dudes. 🙄 please enough with that lame police officers kill people everyday,THEY are authorized to do so,BATMAN is not,how hard is that to comprehend? duh.Batman Begins was realistic,he didnt kill anybody yet the police were still after him because they dont want a vigilante to take the law into his own hands.THATS REALISTIC.The script for the burton films were laughable because he committed murder and was treated like a hero at the end. 🙄 enough with this laughable self defense crap.of course its nonsense to you because you like his crappy films.were just telling it like he is.like this thread starter said do brilliantly bURTON is an idiot because he did not care about what the batman fans wanted,he only wanted to make his own little thing, screw the fans.Cant respect a jerk like that and its funny i dont see you defending schumacher when people call him names which I have seen quite a few.Yep Burtons a whore. 😆
by the way that cheescake thing is comparing apples and oranges, world of difference.Burton did not care about pissing on the true loyal fans such as Impediment and harvey dent.He gots every bashing coming to him. 😛
The cheese cake thing is to point out that you're insulting someone you don't know personally. And maybe Batman's life wasn't in danger when he killed the thugs but he takes justice into his own hands. And by killing those thugs, he keeps them from killing innocent people. As for Schumacher, I think Fover was ok and Batman & Robin was bad. But I won't insult the guy for doing a movie I don't like. If making a movie that people dislike makes him an *******, then Metallica is the worst band ever cause their last CD is a disgrace to the old Metallica music. And the vow not to kill that Batman made, well, maybe he didn't do it in the first two movies. They change his story all the time. In Batman Begins, a bat didn't go into his house by the window. I don't mind a killing Batman. You do, but get over it. It's a movie. What's more important than a comic book hero is real people and the respect you give them. I don't know why you have so much fun bashing people you don't know, but it can sometimes be a sign that you are not a happy guy. And by the way, I choose cheese cake as an example because I love cheese cake but I won't insult someone who makes a bad one.

AGAIN the movie does NOT deserve to be called batman, what it DOES deserve to be called is The Punisher, thats HIS methods NOT BATMANS,DUH, 🙄
Tim Burton has earned my spite because of his lack of faithfulness when shooting the two Batman movies he did. I understand, very much, that certain corners have to be cut when making a movie, that you cant have it both ways, and that not everything is going to be perfect. If it was perfect, we wouldnt be here right now debating, would we? But there are undeniable facts and truths about Batman that make him BATMAN, and I believe very much that Burton not only missed them completely, but totally bastardized them in the process. I will say, for the slight, that before Burton's vision, all we had of Batman was Adam West's campy silly version from the 60's, and Batman 1989 brought him back to the shadows. But was it worth it to make such an unfaithful adaptation? I dont think so, IMO.

wow! No I had never heard of that documentary.I had no idea that Smith did not like Burton and he said that.Pretty easy to believe though.have you ever seen what Tim Burton looks like? The guy definetely looks like a drughead and seeing as how he was so clueless when making the batman movies,I have no doubt that he has a tendency to get on drugs when he makes movies once in a while. 😄
yep that would explain his Batman movies. 😄
I admit Batman as a killer is not the Batman all of you know and love. But calling the movie punisher? Why not call it rambo or any damn movie in which the hero kills the bad guys? I don't think Burton is a drughead. I believe he just wears what he likes. And I'm sure he didn't want to piss on your head and wanted people to go see his movie. Batman is reinvented every damn year or so and people don't cry. Just think of the movies as a alternate dimension if you hate it so much. Think of it as earth 40. Just get over the fact that you hate the movie and have a little more respect for a human being and the people that, unlike you, like his batman movies. I'm not asking for much. I'm just asking for some civilized acceptance and respect. If you can't do that, you clearly have issues with your life. It's just a damn movie after all.

That has to be one of the best comments I've read on this damned thread since it was first created!
Bravo Alec Brood! I greatly agree with you!

Um... you guys were the ones that called Burton a "drughead" in the first place... so it is your own immaturity you fear!
Muwhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! 😆
Please ignore my evil laughing... its just how I relieve stress....
Well, about this particular matter. Clearly Batman was a killer in the first two movies directed by tim burton. He killed the joker and he killed the penguin, also some joker goons and some penguins goons. That was stupid because batman isnt a killer, he is a vigilante and a detective who captures the criminals, if he would kill the criminals , he would be as bad as them, and that is disgrace for the character. Because the whole point Bruce Wayne being batman is to kil the pushniment and the murder that killed his parents. He hates the murder and the weapons, and he couldnt never kill in the way that his parents were killed, because he would be as bad as his parents killer. Thats is the whole point of batman, and Burton destroyed that concept not only with that, but also with the joker being the killer of his parents. I found it absurd.
Surely, its Burton vision. Surely, its only a movie. But surely, we , batman fans, could be dissapointed with that vision that Tim Burton give us in his movies, and we can critize it, with less or more passion.
