OK, Burton is a moron when it comes to Batman...

We are gathered here today to stand for FREEDOM, JUSTICE and GOOD BATMAN MOVIES!
I have a dream, that one day a movie will not be judged by the success of its predecessor, but by its quality! I have a dream atht one day the children of movie fans and the chhildren of critics can sit down at the table of Brotherhood and be FREE! I have a dream, that one day Batman Begins will be apprecvaited as the one true adaption and I stand for the people of this great nations! I HAVE A DREAM!

I have a dream too, but its too dirty to post here.

ROFLMAO... does it involve Chuck Norris and a chicken tikka sandwich? My friend had one of those dreams once...

Well, you are right about the sandwich part, but not about the Chuck Norris part, you are being very close.

I had an odd dream involving Freddy Krueger and ballroom dancing that ended in topics we can't discuss once.... f*cking weird-ass night!

I can't believe he's the Riddler now on the Batman... so very odd........

I cant belive THE Batman exists... TAS owns it even in bad episodes!

I think like Mark Hamil did for the voice of the Joker, Robert Englund did for the voice of the Riddler. He made him sound really sinster and more importently clever, I hope he is back for more episodes cause he does a really cool voice for Riddler.

Scarecrow, wha do you think of The Batman?

Thanks Rafkins Warning. And bakerboy, I agree that a killing Batman is a contradiction to the one batman fans know and love. I don't mind it cause it's tough justice. You can say your opinion about it but in a way that is respectful to the people who like it. And my slightly humoristic cheese cake example proves that.

But I dont give a ****... people who like it aren't true Bat-fans so **** them! There, stick that in your goddam Punisher pipe and smoke it, Alec! PEACE OUT

LOL... Punisher pipe...

I agree that a killing Batman isn't Batman unless its by accident or if he had a REALLY good reason to off somebody... but still... Burton's flicks are entertaining... even Schumacher's has its semi-entertaining moments if you're looking for a good dumb laugh... and I agree Begins did the best Bats interpretation in a true-to-comic sense... but I still rather watch Batman Returns over Batman Begins any day!

Funny... you dislike BB but you have a Beins sig... I uess most peops like SOMETHING about films they hate...

I never said I hated it... like most films I of course found things I liked and enjoyed in Begins... I just don't think its the greatest Batman movie ever made or yet to be ever made... it was severely lacking in entertainment value.

And what's with people and my icon... I happen to like the Scarecrow, he's one of my fav Bats villains, so what if he happens to be in Begins, I like the character... not to mention the Scarecrow just plain kicks ass... even if they casted him wrong for the film... psychically wrong anyway... its not Cillian Murphy's fault he's too short and young!

He was still very good! Hey, Rfkins, do you want to join the KMC Syndicate? You could be Scarecrow...

I thought it was ok, but it does not even compare to BTAS which rocks. 🤘

The Batman is okay for young kids who dont really know who Batman is, but for hardcore, and faithful, fans BTAS is, by far, the pinnacle of Batman (besides Batman Begins, that is.)

The young kids don't need to know who Batman is, all they need to see is a character they want to watch and they like. The BATMAN is perfect as it gives the next generation a way into Batman. They can get into the ins and outs of the character when they get older.

Hmmph... I'd rather they watched BTAS! Why did they cancel that?

^^Because it ran its course. After many successful seasons, they stories became less and less, and so the powers that be decided to pull the plug on BTAS before it got watered down and shitty. Not to mention competition was getting more and more fierce (other cartoon shows were drawing away the audience).

I always thought that unlike the spiderman cartoon show, that they had cancelled that show way too soon. 😠 BTAS was still a great show at the time it was cancelled unlike the spiderman 90's cartoon where the last couple seaons it just got progressively worse and worse and by the time the final season came around I was like-Thank god this is the last year, that this show is finally ending.Where with BTAS the feeling I had was just the opposite when it was cancelled. 🙁
