USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Not exactly. But what exactly do you think you have here? Senator in new job shock horror?

Well, it sounds as if the Senator of an industrial world would not normally be assigned to such a position...

Well, you don't know that much about interstellar politics, Sasha. It IS a powerful commission though, and you are fairly sure it has a wide representation.

I assume Senator Galahad would be much more knowledgable about such politics?

Oh gosh, you know everything about all that!

Btw, you also knew all about the Senators on the commission.

There aren't remains of significance.

"Definitely not Osokan technology," he comments. "Not even Imperial military gear is that precise."

No, nothing significant about the target site at all.

"Some sort of bounty hunter device, maybe?"

Aha...

Let's hear about Sartorus, then, even though it's a tad late to be doing anything meaningful.

There isn't a company called "Bounty Hunter Devices ltd." you know.

Besides, the only one of note around was in the Guld hall when this went off.

"In any case, it may be a friend of Arvus and Rylis, since it's not from our side or theirs" the Duchess says. "I haven't the slightest idea where they would have gone, though. Or why. A patrol of the Guild Hall might be in order; we'd see them leaving, if that's where they went, though I have no idea how they would have gotten in without Kyle or Eerin spotting them."

Aha...I should have made better acquiantance with them.

What does Galahad know about Sartorus? Did he have any aspirations for the Mandragos Commission previously?

Wait... a bit of legal... smudging might be in order.

We have the only bounty hunter we know still fairly near, who we can prove was at least "near" the area when the thing went off.

While we may actually know that neither Rylis or Arvus actually did it, can our political types use this incident to convince the powers here to detain the two for questioning? (That would be Drakkon, wouldn't it?)

Well, he's from Hadrumel, that's a major industrial world chock full of contracts. By luck or the vagueires of war it completely avoided the Clone Wars, and hence as an industrial Core World, post War, start of Empire, fully intact, it started to pick up all sorts of contracts and has now made itself rather rich; Sartorus reflects that.

His is a political career, going from Commission to commission. His voting record is pretty quiet; he's not made waves, but he has worked hard to increase his political stature.

"[I would like to say crazy]," Eerin says, "[but we need to get them by themselves. If we held them up with a bunch of Imperial personnel around, that would not go well. Conservative for the moment?]"

Kyle grimaces. "I hate to say it. But I agree. You know, I'm not sure I like how this mission is effecting us. Any other planet, and I'd have probably just shot her. Well, maybe." he sighs. "Should we follow them?"

Looks like the Commissar is preparing to leave at the starport.

"[Most likely]," Eerin says. "[They'll be splitting off from the Commissar at some point. They didn't arrive with him, they won't leave with him.]"

So, Kyle and Eerin will be following Rylis and Arvus.

Well, they are headed to the starport.

Follow them, see if you get your opportunity.

What of the Mandragos Commission? If he travels from commission to commission, then he likely applied for it. However, how recently has he applied for it? And has he shown previous interest in the Mandragos position, as far as Galahad knows?

Is it common for industrial worlds to be present in the Mandragos commission?

That will take a little while to work out.

And yes, but... it's complex... Sartorus has done much to advance the cause of his world and... there are issues there.

Ahh,
I kinda wanna do something very stupid.
And stow away on the commisonars ship.
But whatever.

All that would do is carry you into the belly of a Star Destroyer...
