USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Rhys shall pilot a skiff as well.

Sasha will sit out for this one. I suggest everyone besides Galahad and myself and the bodyguards should go, though, just in case...

Give us the bodyguards. Kyle's got Eerin for his gunner, but Rhys and Cass and myself won't have anyone.

Unless Rhys feels like going gunner for someone?

We are going to go check out why people are blowing each other away, after all.

"Eerin, i wouldn't want it any other way. Let's go, point us to the nearest skiff."

If something happens in the Hall...

On the one hand, it is the job of the bodyguards to protect them. On the other, Drakkon is right there.

If I need to, Rhys will go gunner.

"[Sure thing, Captain]," Eerin says, hopping aboard the skiff they used last time and cocking the gun on the rear. "[What do you think is happening? Can't be the Imps, they left, so what are they fighting about? Don't they know what's coming?]"

(Good thought Rhys. Maybe we shouldn't all go out there just yet. Someone with a good gun hand should stay behind with the others.)

"Who know with these people," Kyle replies, warming up the skiff's engines. Kicking it into gear and taking off at full speed, he shouts back. "Maybe it's just a party, maybe it's a war. Either way we're about to join it!"

I have a slightly bad feeling about all of us running off to this...

(Exactly. Let's say half and half? Maybe just Scarlet then Eerin and I?)

Sounds good to me. More glory to the Mutant Bug.

Ok, you guys are now drawing closer and closer to what now very much appears to be a substantial gunfight.

Scarlet whizzes the hunting skiff into a distance to see the combatants, but stays out of range of the firefight.

"I wonder what's up?" Scarlet says to Kyle and Eerin. She has her pistols loose in their holsters, but does not expect to use them.

(Can we see any detail. Like who's fighting whom? Is it Imps vs. Osokans or Okokans vs. Osokans? Is it just a gunfight or is there heavy stuff involved? Also, does Kyle see a good spot to stop and get an even closer look without just jumping into the battle?
Plan: If it's O vs. O, I think we just radio back to Drakkon and the others and fill them in, ask for further instructions. If it's Imperials, we quickly inform the others and join the fight.)

The city, sadly, is not made of glass.

"We should get closer," Scarlet says, pulling up alongside Kyle. "What're they going to do, kill us? It's not like we're helpless..."

Eerin looks to Kyle, his hands on the trigger to the skiff's gun. The sonic pistol has been moved to a holster at his side, but the halberd remains on his back, joined by an HH-5 Rocket Launcher.

"[Come on, Kyle, let's go see]," Eerin says. "[Otherwise, the cute girl will think you're a wimp. Can't have that, can we?]"

"Hey, who said I was stopping? I never met a fight I didn't like." He laughs, then remembers his ruined ship out in the juingle. "Well, except for the last one. I hope it's the Imps ahead, we owe them one still."

(Ok, we'll see what we see when we get there. Question about the skiffs. How fast are they? I mean are they easy moving targets, or would they be relatively hard to hit?)

Fast enough to outrun a Sauropod...

"[That's the spirit]," Eerin replies. "[Though, the Imps pulled out, remember? Why would they be here?]"

"The big giant head left, and a Star Destroyer pulled out. I never saw that giant invasion force we were playing with leave. Some could have come causing trouble."

(Good point about the speed. Maybe we can just zoom around with you strafing people if we need to fight.)

"If the clicky thing was talking about the Imps not being here," Scarlet says, "the forces in the city buggered off when the Commissar last left. That was when the Senators did too. I doubt they'll just be skipping around the City."
