"Well, although I would have saved him for the sake of salvaging something from the situation, I hope they get him. Maybe the next Commisar will just stay home, or at least on his ship. Plus it's got to be a set-back for the Imperials back on Coruscant as well as here."

"[Not as much as it is for us]," Eerin says, quietly.

Galahad hears the message from Kyle and slumps, letting out a sigh of disappointment.

"It seems that the Commissar is being attacked by your people," Galahad says to Drakkon. "Can you stop them before he dies? Or should we let him fall? Either way, the Imperial Army will now be able to legally burn down your City..."

Action.

Shuttles are descending at high speed towards the target area.

---

"If so," says Drakkon, "Let's hope they kill him. It would be a shame if they tried and failed."

Bugger out now guys.
Don't get caught around there.
I would like to go to the shield generator, just to look things over.

"Kyle, you can get out of here if you like," Scarlet says. "But I'm going to..."

She watches the shuttles rapidly descend down on the Commissar's position.

"Oh bugger. Well, this will just make things bigger and more dramatic..."

The Duchess is a bit shocked by the news.

"Well, legality is no longer an issue for the Commissar," Sasha says. "The Army was always going to march, but now it marches with the law on it's side."

(Best speed back to the Hall, please.) Kyle sees what Scarlett points out and goes pale. "This party ain't over. Hang on! We're leaving." As soon as Eerin is secure, Kyle firewalls the throttle and leaves the scene.

(So, with the law on their side, does it do the Rebellion any good to stay and fight? I'm not saying we, as decent people, should leave, but is it any longer a Rebel mission?)

You do still have a mission, of course.

Also this IS a Rebellion. You don't have much armed force yet, but you do have a thing about fighting the Empire in general.

As you leave, several of the shuttles are making a fast descent, whilst one is going to make a strafing run on the walkway. Any lingering doubts about this being war are now gone.

Scarlet continues to watch the chaos as the shuttles move in.

She's not in the way of that stafing run, is she?

How well are the Osokans doing against the stormtroopers?

(I know about the other mission, but that's not up to Kyle at this point. I was wondering if fighting now would hurt the Rebellion. I'm all for giving the Imps as many lumps as we can muster, just making sure we aren't about to mess something else up instead.)

"Too bad we can't just take out the Commisar ourselves, now that's it's all started."

Scarlet just watches on, her expression dark.

"I think maybe we should," Scarlet says. "I mean, he is the instigator of all our problems. He's the one giving the orders. Perhaps the Osokans could use some skilled shots in this."

Kyle looks back at Scarlet, not realising until now that Scarlet didn't follow him them. He brings the skiff to a stop and rolls his eyes at Eerin. Then he calls back to Scarlet, "You know we can't do that, we have strict orders not to. Now get out of there while you still can. Hurry, before you need a rescue!"

"Fine, you just run along, then," Scarlet says, not looking back at him. "I want to see what happens."

As ome shuttle is trying to clear the way- with mixed success- the others are landing, some directly down, some nearby, ready to disgorge troops.

This is a well-prepared operation.

Back at the Guild Hall, Drakkon is trying to co-ordinate things as news gets back.

Finding out who has done this and why is not his main priority right now. He does give a very firm order.

"Raise the shield. Leave it on maximum power."

Kyle's face goes red. "Eerin, just a few weeks ago, I'd have left her to her fate." He looks lost in thought for a breif moment, then sighs. He swings the skiff around to point back at the invasion in pregress. "Shall we go make sure she gets out? Hey, maybe we'll get into a fight. I'm tired of having the local wildlife do our work for us anyway." But before he hits the accelerator, he remembers the space battle. "Eerin, you don't have to come on another crazy ride with me."

Scarlet watches intently as the shuttles descend, keeping track of the Commissar's position.

How difficult would it be to get over there... Scarlet wonders. Or shoot that far...

Eerin chuckles a bit. Well, whatever a Geonosian would consider chuckling, that is. It would probably be rapid, jovial clicking.

"[Captain, I haven't had to follow you on any of your damned fool adventures]," Eerin says. "[But someone has to keep you out of trouble. Might as well be me.]"

"What is your plan?" Galahad asks, keeping near Drakkon as he gives orders and organizes. "Are you expecting bombardment? Will you shoot them down?"

The Duchess stands with the Senator, looking on.
