USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Galahad winces.

"You will destroy all of your history?" Galahad asks.

"Rathe than let it be taken away by the Empire as a trophy? Yes."

"I could take it away instead, for safe keeping. The erasing of an entire history is a painful thought."

"Not as painful as it being in the hands of outsiders."

"But then the Empire will have completely succeeded with their goal. Lanzar will be erased from history."

Hmm...

Could Vasilik be able to help Galahad convince Drakkon that he should be allowed access to the Archives, or would Vasilik be just as stubborn with this as Drakkon?

I think you can answer that one yourself.

"Then that is how it will be," says Drakkon.

"Then let us hope that it does not come to that," Galahad says. "I will inform you of any developments with the attack on the artillery pieces, Guildmaster. May the Force be with you."

If relations had been built up with Drakkon, could I have been able to convince him to give us information from the Record of Kileen? It seems that he was rather adamant about it.

(Sorry, all. Was on a weekend trip. Good to see the fight coming, bad to see why it would have been good to go into the jungle earlier. Kyle is ready to go be a gunner for anyone who has room, he really wants a piece of those two special ships especially. Is there no armed airship Kyle can get hold of for the fight? Is there something he can 'borrow' from the spaceport? Or has everyone gone by now?)

I think everyone left at least a day ago, gametime.

Better Idea.
Its called distraction.
Me and, Vera, will fly up into space, and attack the main star destroyer directly,
Like drive straight at teh bridge unmolested and shoot at it kinda stuff
Lets make those TIE's deal with me instead of you guys.
I can just fly around not shooting anything, attempting to avoid all combat and such leaving you able to attack the convoy.

No way am I taking on a Star Destroyer, I want to take out that artillery with my torpedoes...but, Ush, would it work if Cass went up and buzzed the SD? Or would that just result in suicide by turbolaser?

I think it's far too obvious a distraction. We have only one real problem on our minds right now. A single fighter's not gonna be taking down a Star Destroyer, and they won't reallocate forces for it.

I mean it might.
I might not be able to take it down, but I can sure make their life hell.
I might be able to do things like shooting comm stations and disrupting thier coordination.

You don't carry torpedoes, Cass. Whilst their shield generator is up you aren't going to do anything to them, and good as you are you can't take the generators out solo in a light fighter.

There's a better target up there than an SD which might have a similar effect. After all, the SDs, being rather static, cannot enforce the blockade very well (certainly not 'only' two of them).

Maybe if you got up there and blew apart the remainder of the TIEs in the blockade?

That's much more practical.

Alright, so Cass, being torpedoless, should fly into orbit and do what he can to take out the remaining TIE squadron while those of us with explosive firepower stay below to tango with the artillery.

What the heck does that achieve?

well, it could achieve us killing the artillery, provided the remaining TIE's peel off.
But I'll bet we could plan it better.
lesee...

They aren't going to peel off if you are attackuing them! You cannot attack the artillery without engaging the TIEs covering it.
