(Not yet, but we will...)

"You are not understanding what I am saying, Senator. Lanzar has no sophisticated defences. The Emperor could have sent just one ship if he wished to force the issue. This makes... little sense."

Reports continue to come in.

"The Star Destroyers have moved into three different point aboive the planet, taking one third of the world each. Star Destroyer Deviator has moved into orbit above the city."

"Are they deploying fighters?" asks Andran.

Another pause.

"No, no sign of this, Senator."

"Any sign of hostile action?"

"No, Senator. Senator, I am receiving a transmission from the Victorious. A Commissar Esgabath is requesting contact with the Senatorial mission."

"A Commissar? Why is there a political officer aboard that ship?"

"I can't tell you, Senator," replies the Lieutenant.

"He's not here to play politics, that's for sure," says Andran, almost to himself. "I'll handle this. I'll be in my office; patch the Commissar through to there."

Their blocking our escape... They want us. I'll bet

As good a guess as any. Either they want us, or they want to prevent our escape when they attack. Just a matter of time...

But that means they know we're here. How?

Galahad watches as Senator Andran heads to his quarters.

Time starts now.

HOUR 1

From this point on the game is fully competitive. If you aren't doing something, then that is only ok if the other side is not. If they ar,e you guys are just losing hours.

Is there a plan?

(Alright, for one thing, we know they have spies. Two Agents, and Assassin, and a bounty hunter. They don't have to sit on ships and wait like the soldiers probably do. I doubt they are just going to sit up there in space watching the senators talk. Lana certainly isn't anyhow. I vote Eerin and I, and probably some others look to foil them. At least keep tabs on them. I don't think I or my character have much skill in planning the battle. If someone wants, I'll help with whatever preparations there are instead. But I think watching for Imps on the ground would be a good idea. BB you okay with that? Anyone else? Here we go... May the Force be with us!)

Kyle turns to Eerin and the other smugglers in the group and says in a low voice. "I'm no Admiral, but three ships is overkill. They know we're here. Or they hope we are. And I'll bet my favorite hydro-spanner that they've already got people planetside. You know, OUR kind of people. Maybe a few of us should have a look around."

sounds pretty decent but how will you hold tabs on the imps?

(Well, this may sound too cute, but I figured on looking for them where they'd look for us. Cantinas, docking bays, stuff like that. Heck just scouting out the docking bays could tell us who's here. And if they get on our trail, well, then we stay away from the rest of the group. If they're watching us do nothing, they're not watching the ones doing something.

I'm thinking now that just me and Eerin, or at least not many more do this part, so there's plenty left to help with whatever preparations are necessary. If we're tailed Eerin and I can try to make it look like we're gathering supplies or something to get them to follow us all over the place, while staying away from those doing the actual preparations. With the backstory we roped Lana into, it makes BB and I perfect for keeping her busy.

Something else I just remembered, although I don't have any idea how it helps. Ush had said a while back that disrupting Imp communications would be important. Maybe someone else has ideas on that.)

What I said was that it wasn't possible but you should be thinking about that general area.

Alright...this is where the fun begins, gentlemen and gentlewomen.

We need to organize our equipment. To remind everyone, we have:

Enough disruptor rifles for everyone in the group. We should distribute those at some point.

Some toys that make the same nouse as blaster rifles.

Enough explosive to level a large building, that can be divided up as needed. Could be fun, when we find uses for it...

A bunch of anti-personnel and anti-armour mines left over from the Clone Wars. As Drakkon has told us, these will be useless, but they might come in handy at some point.

And the Gungan weaponry. We should get the small catapults set up in tactically advantageous areas, though preferably we will not set them in position until before the attack. Otherwise, the Imperials would probably notice that they've been set up and call it an act of war or such.

Meanwhile, we should probably organize things with Drakkon's troops. Drakkon himself could probably help us organize our equipment as well.

Galahad also has to reveal the secret mission at some point, to the team and to Drakkon.

"[I agree, friend,]" Eerin says. "[But how will we find them? Bars?]"

Generally prefering light blaster pistols it felt odd to Marlu to be holding a disruptor rifle after so many years. After aiming at a few targets to ensure the scope was correctly calibrated he strapped the weapon to his back.
Can't hurt he thought to himself. Then stashed a couple of Gungan hand-held energy balls that arrived with the catapults in his bandoleer.

"Want help transporting those caturpults out to the edges of the city?" he asked.

I don't think we're doing that quite yet. Probably should come up with some ideas about it.

I say we don't distribute the heavy stuff until we are positive the Imperials are going to make their move. If we get caught with heavy explosives or disruptor rifles or setting up catapults, it could cause something.

I think we should just pick out defensive positions first; where we're going to shoot from, where the catapults should be set up, how we can make use of the explosives and mines.

Plus, disruptor rifles are fun. 😊

Kyle grinned. "Yup. Our specialty. Besides, if they really are here looking for us, that's where they'd look. But I want to take a quick jog through the docking area, see if any ships there stand out to us for any reason. Lets get going."

Ok, Here's whats going down, (I'm making executive decisions)
This is what needs to happen.
We need to
A) Fix up some defences. Not actuallymaking them, as toting heavy machinery is suspicious.
B)Find the Planet-side Agents. (Self-explanitory) [Eerin and Kyle are already on that, does the other team wanna get on that as well? Be careful though, don't get noticed]
C) Try and Find a way to tap their Comms. We want to know about what they are up to. (Ask Drakkon about that)
D) Protect Drakkon. If they can get to him, it can look like there is instability, and that they are needed.
E) Protect Senate Mission
F) Protect ourselves. Keep in Comm contact. Let everyone know about any developments, and DON'T LET IMPS KNOW YOU ARE A REBEL!

Ok Now, Me and Max can go scout out defences, its somethign we might be able to do from the air. Do a bit of Reconnosince. And while we are in the shipyard, we might wanna poke around and see if any ships stand out as bounty hunters or anything scummy, That will free up more time for the Smugglers to get stuff done in the Cantinas.
Ok Everyone know what they are doing?
Any questions?
Lets keep this efficient and organized.

Drakkon just ordered some of his aides to activate the city shield.

If we're going to setup defenses, they need to be right around the generator. I guess we should split up into groups and actaully put down who's in what group. So far, we have the Scouts looking for Imps:

Kyle
Eerin

Peope scouting out the defenses-

Tpt

And then I guess people guarding Drakkon-

None for now.

OK can I do what I said I would do?
Go to the shipyard, poke around at the ships and then do some aireal reconnosance?

Okay, I'm back, for now, at least. Turns out I've got access to a comp after all.

Thraxis has informed me that he will no longer be playing. Kinda offsets myself, but he simply got bored with it.

So Rhys will be scrounging about with Kyle and Eerin, looking for ships or people that might stand out or actually be familiar.

As for our list of things to do, we might want to be rid of the agents before readying defenses. Known defenses are no defense at all, if you think about it.

Galahad would like to have a chat with Drakkon.

"I see you have ordered the activation of the shields," Galahad says. "Why?"
