USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

"These three are a rare breed. There are few of them left."

It becomes clear that more Osokans are walking into the room- another seven for each of the three already there.

"These are their Hunting Teams. My three servants here are Hunting Captains, from the old days."

Ok, Rebs, operation cargoshift is a go go. Gimme your first move; we are playing this out for real.

(Well, do we start at the beginning? First, we'd have to load the cargo skiffs according to plan. Contraband skiffs, which the Osokans push, and random junk skiffs which we players push. I see it stating out something like this: )

Kyle descend the boarding ramp of the Last Laugh with an armful of spare parts and loose objects from his ship. None of it was worth a credit, but they didn't have to pretend to be smart traders. He dumped the crap onto the waiting skiff and looked at Eerin. "Hey, know that old chair we've been meaning to replace? Why don't you rip it out and throw it on here?'

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I envision several skiffs at each smuggler's ship and the Duchess'. One skiff filled with random crap by the players while the Osokans are loading the arms. Tarps or blankets should cover whatever's not in crates wile it's being carried to the skiffs. After that each skiff is loaded with whatever, they should all be covered as alike as possible. What say the rest of you?)

Ok, Kyle is working on the Rebel stuff, who is with him, and who is dealing with the Osokan part?

Rhys will be helping Kyle out, and I agree with his idea for the plan.

"Nothing like a time like this to clean out a messy ship. What do you think this used to be?" he asks Kyle, holding up an odd cylindrical piece of metal before tossing it in with the rest of his stuff.

"The old Hunting Teams," Galahad says. "I am supposing that by 'rare breed,' you mean that they have the keenest of senses and the most intense of training in honing their skills...less than your own, of course..."

Galahad makes an Observation roll to see the three Captains' attitudes towards himself and towards their Guildmaster.

"I am assuming these were teams that were used to hunt criminals in the days of the Republic, as well as to hunt...Jedi," Galahad resumes, turning to Drakkon. "You think it is possible that Vader would not be able to withstand these three teams and yourself?"

I will need to know what's happening with the Osokan weapons.

-

They are utterly loyal, Galahad.

"Yes, these were Jedi hutning teams," says Drakkon. "And by rare breed, I mean those who were Captains in those days. There are only six left, and you see four of them here.

"Two Hunting teams on one target was generally considered an unbeatable force. I will bring four teams, for I have one myself. The only issue was if the target made his escape. But Vader..." Drakkon smiles. "Vader is not the quickest of beings."

(Sorry I wasn't specific enough. I meant for them to be loaded concurrently with our stuff. We load our skiffs, they load theirs. One long train.)

So no players are going to be with the Osokans?

Their weaponry was contained in three large freighters. It will be a huge cargo convoy.

(I was thinking of mixing the players with the Osokans in the convoy, but with a few of the junk skiffs right in front. BUT, perhaps some of the others should accompany the Osokans, even if it means pushing guns. I can't remember at this point what everyone is doing, but I think that Me, Eerin, Rhys, Vera, and perhaps the Duchess can get this one done. Of course the pilots are welcome to help out, it's a big job. I just can't remember if they're working on something else. Galahad will obviously not be anywhere near us. Did I leave anyone out?)

The reason I need to be specific is that I am not driving game events now, you are, and I need to relate exactly what happened to the Imperial players.

(Ah, forgot about that part. Well, Kyle, Eerin and Rhys are already at their own ships loading crap. I'll leave it to others to explain just what they ar doing, as far as the plan goes.)

Oh, Galahad, I would try to make a point that Vader never really goes after people. Because he doesn't. The only rebel he really fought directly was Luke...
He got in his tie to destroy Luke...
He doesn't lead forces, he commands them from far away, I don't think that Vader is going to directly challenge Drakkon, His presence is only for leadership and fear...

Scarlet will put herself with the Osokan convoy.

Galahad nods. "What of your other two teams? Vader may not be fast, but he is immensely powerful, from what I have heard."

"I don't have two other teams. But there is no being in the Galaxy who could survive those odds."

What are you actually going to be doing with the Osokan stuff, Scarlet?

I would like to drive one of the hoversleds carrying crates, if I could.

"What if Vader were to run? And you do realize that he will be much harder to take down due to his skill with a lightsaber and his Sith armor, yes?" Galahad inquires. "In any case, what if Vader does not himself come to the battlefield? Will you use these men against the stormtrooper hordes?"

You might wanna say your looking out only for his saftey or something so he doesn't get all offended and PO'ed and stop helping us...

Hmm, yeah...I seem like I'm downplaying their skills. And I'm sure Drakkon knows that neurowhips are less effective against armor...

"Guildmaster, what if Vader were to run? What if he did not even come to the surface and instead commanded from a distance? Would you use your men against the stormtroopers?" Galahad inquires.

"His armour is troublesome," says Drakkon, "but not so much trouble as to discount thirty two neurowhips. He cannot run, we are faster, as I mentioned. And if he does not come, then I have nothing more to fear than I did anyway. My people will defend the city."

Ok, so, most the Rebels are going to their docking bay to load up on stuff, whilst Drakkon's Osokans go to load up their crates, along with Scarlet. Is that fair? Is anything else happening at all? Anything you don't tell me, doesn't happen.
