(Well, chasing said freighters up into space, talking to them, and returning to the planet is probably about as suspicious as it gets outside of Hutt space. But yeah, we should get back and Ush posted earlier that we were headed that way. Anything we do up here now will just start the fight, at best. Let's get back to the ugliness below and help sort it out.)
As Kyle pilots the Last Laugh back down the planet's gravity well, he keeps one eye on the freighter. He willed it to go faster, but he know there was no way a normal freighter would get away from a Star Destroyer. They better have destroyed those logs.
You are! But I was just saying there might be times and places where certain talents are put to good use. There is a problem with the current situation that I don't think any of you have considered, because it is not a practical problem- more like an ultimate one.

"What's going on?" asks Andran.
"The freighters have gone to maximum speed. They are looking to charge straight past the Deviator."
"These new Star Destroyers... at full speed they can outrun any bulk freighter," says another aide. "Their engine power is awesome."
"But they are not nimble," says the first speaker. "The Destroyers were not in an ideal position and the freighters have gone straight by the Deviator's nose. They are banking on clearing the gravity well and entering hyperspace before the ship can react and turn around."
(I think the 'ultimate problem' is that it's about to hit the fan and we're not ready. We don't even really have a plan, at least not that I'm aware of. Kyle's not the leader, he's mostly doing what he's told, and reacting to new things as they come up. The thing with the assassin was at least partially succesful. The thing in space was not. What's done is done. The warehouse thing is done so all those people are free for new tasks. I think they're waiting to be told what those new tasks are.
So... What's the plan?)
The dialogue from Andran's crew continues.
"How long before they clear the gravity well?"
"They are bulk freighters. Their engines are designed for hyperspace use, not fast orbital exits."
"How long!?"
"Say, five minutes?"
A report comes from the Comms officer.
"We are getting new signals on the scope. TIE Fighters."
