Bit far ahead to worry about that.

No, tactical as in- how to take the fight to the Imperials before that point! You need to delay them.

Ok, let's get this into perspective.

You have three things to do tomorrow, as well as dealing with any events as they crop up

1. Fight the political battle with the Empire, as the arguments over thr blockade go on

2. Negotiate with Vormax

3. Start taking military action against the Imperials to slow them down.

Who is volunteering for which job?

*hand goes up immediately*
Military action!

is the military action covert stuff, or outright attacking?

Something is going to have to go bang but you're not looking for a field battle, no.

(I'm thinking sabotage. Just not sure what yet. I wouldn't mind trying to get to the equipment they've got out in the jungle. Maybe we can get some Osokans to go out with us and 'hunt' imperials.)

That would be insane, I think, Jazz. Even with the Osokans, I'm not willing to fight raptors. Plus we don't know where the Imps are, or even if they're set up yet.

Have the Imp secured any posts within the city since moving in? Like, where all the stormies are hanging out?

We could sabotage the shuttles that carry the Commissar back and forth... 😛

But first, we need our explosives back from Vormax...

Galahad should participate in the arguments over the blockade...

But we need a talker to head over to Vormax's. I suppose I shall volunteer myself for that.

The Stormtroopers are wandering around all over. But any attack on them will bring repercussions; the Imperials are hoping someone will take pot shots at them.

Locating the Imperials should have been easy but no-one seemed to want to make the effort. As it happens, your choice of weaponry is actually no good for the job at hand, which is because you neither had the expertise to know what to pick nor- and this is more of a shame- did anyone ask an Ally or Contact who would have been in the know. You don't know where the enemy are going to go in roder to usefully mine anywhere with the small amount you have, and placing explosives is going to be very risky indeed. Still, right now you don't have them anyway.

However, most certainly you are not going to be able to get through that jungle unaided.

Hmm, I'm all for getting a hostile environment for the imps to work in.

Hmm, How sneaky can we go? Can we blow something up and pin it on the Imps, but is that too un-rebels?
Or our rumor strategy.
And I'm all in for the Military action part.

I'm split between Vormax and troubling Imps. However, since we can't actually DO anything to them without our stuff, I can help with Vormax.

I think Ush mentioned that we can't make incidents that we caused and blame the other side before we even started this game.

And just keep in mind that we don't want the Osokans to open fire on the stormtroopers. Maybe a harmless 'throw rocks at the stormtroopers!' like the Americans did to the British back in the Revolution days; the soldiers couldn't open fire unless they wanted something like the Massacre of something-or-other. 😄 Unless the stormtroopers don't give a damn.

And we don't want anyone to die. Period.

(Nah, the Stormtroopers won't give a damn. We need to figure out something useful to them that we can screw with. You said that maybe we blow up the Commisar's ride. Well, until we get our explosives back, maybe we can sneak in and 'modify' it a little. Something annoying and disruptive, until we can actually start blowing things up and shooting Stormtroopers. Maybe we could go to the Starport and check out what's there. It's their only way into the city until they invade, so let's make it tough on them there.)

All that piddling around will just peeve the Imperials. You aren't here to tickle them, you have to actually hurt them.

You need to hit the main army. It must be slowed!

(Well, I'm trying to imagine what we can do without starting the war. We don't want to start the invasion, although I would think the Imperials hardly need an excuse by now. Just not clear on what we mught get away with without putting us deeper in the hole.)

Actually, if you are not too blatant about it, it is a heck of a lot easier to get away with hitting the camp than it is to stage terrorist incidents inside the city.

But it will take some thoughts, yes.

(I thought we couldn't get through the jungle. Or can we with Osokan help? I wonder if making bombing/strafing runs with our ships might be too blantant. Any ideas?)

To be sure, they have more airpower than you!

Impossible without Osokan help, certainly.

(Well, let's see about getting our stuff back. We're not going to make it all the way through the jungle from hell just to shoot our pistols at an Imperial camp. We need 'stuff' and lots of it. Let's talk o the Lodgemaster, get our stuff back by hook or by crook, and then see what we can do about the Imperials.)
