(They probably have a cordon of Stormtroopers to keep the things at bay, but if they do have some type of system in place that rocks if we could quietly disable it. maybe they at least have an early warning system. Of course, anything they have in place to deter Lanzar's Raptors, will probably give us plenty of trouble as well. 'We must be cautious.' But I'm all for it, even if it's just night raids on outlying camp of Stormtroopers, every little bit helps.)
I have an idea...
Ok I heard of this from a Philipino WW2 raid.
Here's what we do. You guys sneak in and get all ready, if you run into any stormies guarding or whatever, thats where the cool part comes in. You call in your friendly neighborhood distraction, me.
I buzz the compound, Shoot stuff on the far side, fly around, and generally draw attention to myself. You guys then, get in, sabotage the Nature-keeping-out crap, and get out.
Possibly even leave some sort of raptor attractor, that should lead to fun times..
(Very cool. I like the Raptor attractor idea. We should ask the Osokans what they eat (they'll say everything, but something must be really special to the dinos). Yeah, they've got air superiority, but a quick flyby the outskirts of their control shouldn't be too bad for 1 fighter. Probably not good for our smuggler ships, but a fighter sounds reasonable)
That would be dangerously obvious. Those in the Jungle can disappear back into it, but once a ship appears, they will just follow it back to wherever, by watching it from an SD if they have to. You have to return to the city and they will get you there and then they have direct evidence of those in the city attacking the camp!
(Ok, we can just do the same thing just with people instead. Our crew and Osokans, split into two to four groups, depending on how many we get. Half can divert any guards, while the rest disables whatever they have in place.
If nothing else, that's a lot of people to wage geurilla-style war on the Imperials. A barrage of quick and deadly shots from hidden spots in the jungle, and by the time they mount a counter attack, we're gone. If we have teams, we can hit from several angles, and appear as a much larger force. Done well, we can really put them off balance and hopefully thin their numbers as much as possible.)
(Let's just head out there and see. Someone ask Drakkon if any of his people want to help us out. tpt must be right, they have to be using something just posting alot of Stormtroopers like I suggested earlier would just waste a LOT of troopers. Those things are mean, so I doubt a handful of guards can keep the camp safe. I wonder what keeps us safe though...
Is there maybe some kind of transportation we can use to get part way? Like swoops/spederbikes, skiffs, something that can go through the jungle. We couldn't go all the way, but if we can get as far as practical it would save on time and fighting the jungle.)
(No. Just seems there should be. If Osokans have to keep them in huge pits, the Imperials couldn't simply sit out in a clearing and be safe. At least, that's what makes sense to me. Even if ther isn't, we might still be able to fool with the Imperials somehow. We have to do something, and it can't be wait 'till they attack the city.)
