(Yeah, I was thinking that if we can get them through the blockade, we can have an alternate landing site ready to offload the cargo. Obviously, they can't land in the city, but far away in the jungle and far away from the Imperial camp might work. We could unload them and send them on their way. The only trouble is, if they run the blockade, even if they have no cargo wouldn't the Imps still blast them? The crew might be stuck on the ground until this is settled. Hey, maybe we can recruit them! Lots to plan for, should we hold off on the jungle assault, or break into further groups to deal with each? It doesn't seem like time is on our side, so I vote for splitting up. With Osokan assistance on both teams, we might make it.)
I don't see any other option of getting that second shipment through other than taking the fight to the Imperials, this time. We missed the last action-packed space fight, we won't miss this one unless Galahad and Andran by some miracle get the blockade to drop.
We should keep ourselves available for that. Perhaps all four of our pilots go up while we leave Eerin to do the camp raids?
A head on fight is not recommended, not now they know the situation.
But Scarlet... you've run blockades before... and you'd be surprised if Kyle hasn't. And Cass is the best pilkot you know. You've got the goods needed to gey by any bunch of TIE Fighters.
It's not going to be that simple due to other factors, but normally the hardest thing is finding the people. Well, you have the people by default!
(Unless we know the raid can be done in time, yeah, let's get ready to run the blockade. It wouldn't be a frontal assault, we'd lose almost by default. It's more like running interference. Like Offence in American football, except the ball carrier starts BEHIND the Defence. Punch a hole in their formation and cover the freighter(s) as they speed through. (that's a thought, it would be helpful to find out how many ships are coming) If we can take them by surprise and divert their fire/attention away from the shipment, we just might survive.
I'm hoping there are some smuggler tricks we know to help with this. Kyle will take a moment to think back to see if he was ever in any comparable situation, like when he stole his ship or something...))
I guess Eerin will ride with Kyle, then, probably use the gunnery on board (unless Kyle's ship isn't a clone of the Falcon 😛 ).
And should we have Starship design stuff kinked out, Ush, or will it not matter?
Anyways. I think the major thing is that we're a distraction. They'll probably be as many ships as the first time...three ships. So that's four covering three. Neato.
(Yeah, starship design. That'd be cool. It was one of the reasons that I ultimately didn't attack the last time. I wondered how we'd do it without the rules in place. Although, for the record, here's how I envision the Last Laugh. It's obviously based off the Falcon, but I didn't want to copycat completely:
YT-1300 Light Freighter. Outfitted with a single heavy duty cannon/gun emplacement on the dorsal hull. Missile launcher in the front between the bow mandibles. Respectably beefed up shielding and sensor suite. Fast, but not Falcon fast.)
