USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

So what was the message I received through the communicator about?

It is your assistant to inform you that things are happening in robit.

And in fact by now, she is telling you that Deviator has gone to battle stations, powered up weapons, and is moving to intercept three ships currently leaving orbit.

What kind of ships are those? Osokan ones?

"No- Huttese, apparently."

Much larger than a person.

Damn... So I doubt I could carry one out without being noticed.

Is there a single one open, or are all of them closed?

"Inform Nidar that they are likely to be the ones responsible for illegal weapon smuggling. They should be interrogated."

"It might be too late for that. The ships are refusing to stand down- they are making a run for it."

-

Yes indeed too large, hence the need of those skiffs to carry them.

None open right now, no.

"We should catch them alive if possible!"

Tractor beams!

"Sir, the crew is already receiving orders," says your aide, hintingly.

But only those actually up there know precisely what is going on.

Melkor, intercepting those ships is blockade.

Hmm, I think I could justify the blockade, especially that the crew could reveal more about the weapon smuggling. Huttese scum should not be that much resistant to interrogation, right?

I will try to contact Nidar and ask him to catch those ships so some of the crew survive.

Sadly, you clearly missed your aide's hint.

"Lord Vader's orders are perfectly adequate, Commissar," says Nidar. "Unless you want to challenge them? I can think of little other reason you have interrupted me in the middle of a battle scenario."

"I only wish to be correctly informed about the proceedings, Commodore. And I wanted to inform you that those ships may be involved in weapon smuggling for Drakkon. Please inform Lord Vader about it as well. Now I leave you to your "battle."

"Lord Vader does not take kindly to being informed of things he already knows, Commissar. It was one of your Agents who made the report, after all."

Your aide contacts you again, Melkor.

"It's all over up here. The freighters wouldn't stand to, and trying to target the engines caused a reactor breach. The TIEs destroyed two and Deviator destroyed the third. They are scavenging now, for survivors and computer details. You had better get back up here."

Not just Melkor. Lyle and all the 'Scum and Villainy' templates have been summoned back to the task force as well, and you suppose you had better check in with what is happening up top, Coll- they can probably give you a better idea of the strategic situation than you will get from Lomax.

The situation at this point will conclude the day unless anyone has something they really want to do at night.

OOC: Notes that I am alive, and due to Lana's pestering. Have begun reading....

In any event, I shall be active once more.

Stuff for you to do immediately if you are ready!

Lyle heads back to the starport. He'd like to try and hitch a lift on Melkor's ship, in case the Rebels are watching the others.

A shuttle has been sent for you, in fact.

Well, that's not subtle, is it?

Any way for Lyle to get on covertly? I really don't want to be identified as an imp.
