USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Data alterations are possible but no forgery is perfect.

Communication intercepting? That means someone's been listening in on our conversations the majority of the time, depending on how long that's been there.

Yup.

Safe to say that this equipment has been comfiscated. Not only would it be bad to leave it there for further use, but it is possibly evidence of Rebel activities.

I don't really know how else to handle the Destruction of the Evidence. Dare I say, this is something that Melkor would handle better?

Didn't Trick manage to nab the manifest?

Yeah, actually I do believe that he did, because that's how he knew it was weapons they were carrying to begin with...

Yes he did.

Then, though I see that physical evidence would be good, why don't we publish the manifest we do have and show off what we've confiscated?

Isn't the illicit dealing of weaponry (from the Hutts) something that justifies the destruction of a ship? And if the senators continue to push it would it be possible to make them look bad by suggesting they support smuggling and the criminal empire of the Hutts?

I also suggest leaving the stormtroopers that just made the grab in the city, so that we have at least some force ready inside. Just leave them at the warehouses and say we're securing them, or something.

(Btw, I'm in Boston - just to explain my slight absence)

Justifying trashing the ship is not the issue- justifying blockading the planet is!

Incidentally, the weapons were not smuggled. They were paid for and flew in. To be smuggled they would have had to have been taken past some representation of authority. Catching empty vessels on the way out is hardly catching smugglers.

Ok, is the final decision to use Lyle's earlier download of the mainfest?

(No-one seems at all bothered that that manifest has magically changed, btw)

It's not a perfect solution, but it will do and if so we can move on.

I actually thought of that this morning (when I was failing at sleeping) - wouldn't the fact that the manifests are different be enough to raise suspicion that Drakkon didn't want people to know he was buying weapons, which could suggest he wanted them for some illegal purpose?

And also, will the fact that the crates in the warehouse that Rylis had followed them to were different do anything - like maybe Drakkon's getting weapons from another source as well that might actually be illegal?

How do you prove they were different?

They didn't get any of the different looking ones, by the way.

Damn.

So much for that idea.

I feel kind of stupid for asking, and I've been trying to figure out what's going on by reading the past few pages but I am so lost. What exactly is everyone trying to figure out in here?

(oh and is there a certain thing we need to use to make a character and post it? I don't see anything 🙁 )

It is a little buried, but the creation thread is here:

And character reference is here:

Yes, the fact that we have an earlier manifest and a changed one should be enough to raise the suspicion that Drakkon has these weapons for a purpose other than serving the Empire.

Like I just said to Lana- what is the proof of this 'earlier manifest'?

Ah, because Trickster's method of procuring it isn't exactly legal...hmm...

Could we have fetched it from the starport records department, if they have such a thing?

Yes, I don't think anyone is going to be impressed by the thing that Lyle stole from them, as far as evidence is concerned.
