"I'm not as familiar with TIE Bombers as I am with the Fighters. I wonder if it would be possible to use a lower Yeild Munition, to avoid some damage to areas with high Troop Concentrations."

Nah, they aren't built for precise munitions. They drop thermal detonators or they blast away with proton torpedoes.

"Then it will be done, General." With this, Thrak saluted, sidestepped Coll and Trebeis, and made his way out the bridge's doors to the elevator, where he pressed the button for the hangar. Once there, he ordered the bombers and some of the fighters to be loaded with proton bombs, and observed the Pilots and Marines to make sure they fit in as many as they could.

Matrix fever is slowing the Alliance side, and you are basically waiting on them. Melkor, as soon as you are back you can start talking with Galahad.

Lana- got the plan yet?

Beyond the fact that my attempts at thinking of things to talk about/distract the Osokan guards with isn't going well, yeah.

... exercise that mighty brain of yours!

Stormies report in- Last Laugh is preparing for takeoff.

Can we get any better intel than that? Anyway, Trebeis will order the Squadron Leader to prepare for a blockade run. Although I'm just a wee bit confused. His ship is a Fighter, Correct? What does he hope to accomplish....

General Coll will order the stormtroopers to move in to prevent the take-off if they can.

And the Last Laugh is a freighter.

At this point you don't have the authority to militarily intervene at the starport.

Damn. Well, I'm sure I will after this...

What type of trouble would it cause if the Stormies were sent in, anyway?

It would almost certainly precipitate fighting that could endanger the Senate.

That would be most displeasing to the Imperial Senate. I won't risk it.

Indeed.

Any fighting in the capital whilst the Senators are still there will be a disaster.

General Coll will watch the action from the bridge of the Deviator.

Stepping up to the General, Trebeis inquires "So what do you think of the situation, Coll?"

"From my personal opinion, I think we are about to be clearing a lot of space debris from where the Last Laugh is destroyed..."

Chuckling, the Captain replies "Indeed we will. The fools cannot hope to outrun us. And to be honest, I would love to see them try and fire upon one of our Vessles...."

Ulrand will track the Last Laugh in his Interceptor, with several of his pilots forming up behind him.
