USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

"They wouldn't dare," Coll says. "Unless they have a death wish, they'll stay as far away from our fighters and our Destroyers as possible."

Thrak- what it that leaves you off-station? You might create a gap in the blockade.

Well, would there be pilots on break, and if so, could I order them to fill any gaps?

Any TIEs not being deployed are on maintenance shift.

Could I order any pilots that would be switching to maintenance shift to maintain the blockade, and I would take the ones that were returning to track the Last Laugh, or could this problem be avoided by just my tracking of them?

Well, it would mean weakening the blockade later. Ships need to come in sooner or later.

Well, I was planning on the ship, so I would most likely not be flying right now under normal circumstances, so I could either track them solo, or wait on the ship to see how everything develops.

I meant your ships. If you break the maintenance cycle now, the ships you send out will need it later at a worse time and the blockade will weaken.

Ah, so it would be better if I remained on the Deviator to keep as many ships as possible fresh. In that case I would wait on the bridge with Trebeis and Coll.

That's not a necessity. What I am saying is:

- If you go to follow the Last Laugh, that leaves a sensor gap around the area you are meant to be

- If you plug that gap by launching fightrers in maintenance, that means at some future point there will be gap as those fighters will need maintenance later at the same time as other fighters

Last Laugh is in the air, but it seems that it is not the only ship taking off, according to your men on the ground.

Well then I'll wait on the bridge for now.

What can the the troopers tell us about the other ship?

Nothing, they were not detailed to watch any other ships,

Can my TIEs sensors tell anything? In the mean time, I shall ask Captain Trebeis for permission to attempt to communicate with the second ship.

You'll have to wait until they break atmosphere, and no-one said anything about there being only two.

How many were the stormtroopers saying?

They are reporting 'several'.

I see...

Then I will order a pilot in the vicinity of each ship to radio them when they're in range and find out who they are.

"They indeed would not dare. But it indeed would make things VERY interesting..." Trebeis Replies, his gaze slowly drifting to a bank of Turbo-Lazer Consoles. Trebeis gives the Squadron Commander permission to attempt contact. "Remember Ulrand. Anyone even suspected to be making an attempt at running the Blockade is to be handled with absolute force. No survivors would be a horrible tragedy however." He says the last part with a look that suggests that no survivors would be absolutely fine.

"And how exactly would you define 'suspected to be making an attempt at running the blockade', Captain?"
