USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Alrighty, then, Coll will get to his personal shuttle and head down to the surface.

"Stay clear of the fighting..." General Coll orders.

You;re already there, don't worry.

You're still going to need a good pitch to get away with this.

Well, he is technically still a member of the Empire, as the Senate is trying to achieve. Perhaps as any good Imperial citizen would do, we could convince him to help us?

I'm not really sure. Any ideas from the others would be helpful.

Janthis is still heading down with Coll

I think you can rule out the 'good citizen' vibe, Coll. This person hates the Empire and is no idiot.

Yeah, thought so...

Well, as Guildmaster, maybe we could make a deal with him? Perhaps make his position as Guildmaster more...secure?

In many situations you might find dealmaking an effective idea. But the political pressure on this misison screws it. Drakkon defied the Emperor.

That would have been so easy, too. Scrape some Osokan opponent off the bottom of my boot...

Giving him weapons would probably catch his eye, but that would be stupid on my part, and might render our bitching about the weapons he already possesses as moot.

Osokans like hunting, perhaps Coll could talk in a hunting aspect? Coll, not being as strong as an Osokan, would probably want to keep the raptors off of him while hunting in the jungle until he finds his target.

Blah.

That's a better idea, because it is working om how he thinks, rather than trying to brain-teaser a way through it.

But unfortunately you can't lie either. He knows you arenlt here to hunt.

But hunting would be a good route to take, even if I'm not here to hunt.

Maybe Coll would be interested in a hunting trip later?

When I say it was a good idea, what I mean was the attempt to think about what he thinsk about.

What kind of man is Drakkon? What would work with him?

I'm not saying this is easy; I like a bold plan. If your answer to the above question is "I don't really know," then my counter answer is... yeah, that's probably true... someone probably should have found out.

Yeah we probably should but what do we know about him Ush.

He is smart
He is a proud Warrior he has to be right?
Anything else

Perhaps talk to him about his own hunting exploits?

No-one could be Guildmaster of Lanzar without being a damn fine warrior, Janthis. Though you are led to understand that Drakkon mastered the political situation on Lanzar also, something Matadan apparently failed to do.

I wonder what Drakkon's mindset is is he fearful of the Empire actually invading or is he really confident he can get Lanzar out of this through the Senate.

Wonder away!

Oh I will 😛

He strikes me as knowing that the Empire intends to invade. Probably the Rebels' doing. Being Osokan, I don't think he fears us. He seems confident and proud.

So perhaps pursuing conversation along the lines of Drakkon's fame as a warrior and hunter would be a good idea?

Maybe. You will have to judge him well.

They're both military men, Coll and Drakkon. Perhaps striking a chord on his fame as a warrior would work best for me.
