USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by General Zink372 pages

"I had a friend awhile back who tried to take in an Osokan murderer whom the Empire had labeled as having a bounty on his head. The Osokan more or less tore off his arms."

Arvus opens a hatch on the side of his ship and makes a quick repair. One of the blaster cannons on his ship had overheated and melted the circuitry a few weeks prior, and the repairs had been slow. He turned to see Rylis looking apprehensive.

"Then again, my friend wasn't very experienced..."

"We, we shall handle this with caution." Rylis replied, raising an eyebrow at the state of Arvus's ship.

"I would have to say so," Arvus replies.

Arvus touching a tool to a piece of the circuitry, with a shower of sparks, welding it in place. "I melted the cannon circuitry gunning down a shuttle. It had heavy armor that I wasn't expecting. I got him, though."

"So long as it's not something that will cause a malfunction. I'd prefer to not take my ship as it may be recognized." Rylis says, leaning against the side of Arvus's ship.

"Oh, no worries," Arvus says. "I'm quite well-to-do with technology. A simple matter, really."

Sorry, I am not sure here- do people actually have a settled plan?

Those remaining on the task force, I want to know how you are organising the forces under your command before arrival.

Organize? We are not making the blockade yet, so three Destroyers will just stay near Lanzar.

Err, note me saying about how you want them organised before arrival? Not being at Lanzar yet is implicit.

It is really a question for the military, though.

Well, I will ask Nidar about his suggestions.

What is his mood after the conference?

That's a good question, Ush.

How can they be organized, anyways? Is there some roll I could make that would give me a basis, like Warfare or something?

Rex, does Coil respond to my concerns about Trebeis?( see my last post on page 13.)

You could roll Warfare come deployment time, but this is really a matter of what you are telling your forces, what you want them to be prepared for, any special instructions you have, and so on and so forth. The Deviator as a whole could have very different actions depending on how the military characters set things up.

How is Victorious being organized by Nidar, since I stay on this ship, not Deviator?

It may provide example for Trebeis and Coil.

"I don't exactly have control over Captain Trebeis, sir," General Coll replies to the Commissar. "I am merely taking care of the military that are hosted by his ship. I think you should leave it to the Commodore to put Trebeis in line, but I don't see the harm in it. Respect is needed, but every man has an off day. Rarely, if you're a man of the Empire."

Vantos would like to see what is available to him, in the case of ground forces. For example, do we have any heavy units?

Yes, Ush what exactly forms the Division of Stormtroopers?

"Well, I hope that he won`t have any more bad days on this mission, General. Resume your work, and take care that your underlings are well informed about the Osokans and the planet itself." -Melkor goes to attend Nidar, still seeming dissatisfied, yet calm and confident.

A Division is about 10000 men, and added to that you can consider dozens of speeder bikes, about thirty AT-STs and five AT-ATs.

Any conventional artillery? How many Stormtroopers use Heavy Weapons?

I could use a link to good site about Star Wars military, I haven`t seen ESB for some time, and tend to confuse AT-STs and AT-ATs. I remember that the former are much bigger.

Plenty of heavy gear like artillery available, yes. But most the Stormies are conventional light infantry.

It is the latter that are bigger. Both are All-Terrain; STs are Scouts, ATs are huge armoured walkers of doom.

Also, how many starfighters we have in each squadron?( assuming there is at least one squadron for each ship). Any smaller ships that are not starfighters?

So the entire TaskForce is propably around 150 000 people, counting crew of the ships. Damm impressive.

What am I supposed to do?
