USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Captain REX372 pages

The official number of how much a Star Destroyer can carry is six squadrons, but Ush's numbers are probably smaller than that for the purpose of gameplay.

General Coll would like to tell the troops to be prepared to use all available walkers so that the intense jungle terrain of the planet does not slow down the forces should they go planet side.

How much can an AT-AT hold, anyways? AT-STs hold two people, but AT-ATs are vastly different in size.

There are no such things as Osokan mooks, right? Also, since the Hunting teams are mostly gone, what with the Osokans use in regards to combat? Blasters? Knives? Neurowhips?

Xorn would lke to know how many are in his Fleet?

No, six Squadrons is about right- four of Fighters, two of Bombers; the Squadron Leader (technically a Wing Commander but less people would recognise what that meant) commands them all.

Noted, General- but as I said in your survey, no matter how good your transports are, armies move more slowly through Jungle than open ground; it's just logic that cannot be avoided.

I'd say an AT-AT can hold a Company- that's about 100 men, and it is as much as a Commander leads.

There are no Osokan mooks, no, but the average Osokan isn't as goos as a Hunter. The most 'normal' Osokan weapon would be the hunting knife.

"What about speeders, sir?" enquires your aide.

Commanders might want to repeat this exercise on a smaller scale for their companies.

Lyle salutes the Commissar once his he is given his orders,
"We will leave as soon as possible, sir," he says, leaving the planning room. He beckons Stirge to follow him as they go down to the docking bay. Looking around, he spots Arvus and Rylis by the assassin's ship and heads over to them. He smiles as he approaches,
"That surprised my, Rylis! I didn't know you were part of the Commiserat now," Offering his hand to Arvus, he introduces himself, "Lyle Crett, Imperial Intelligence."

Karn followed the others to the assassin's ship, mainly due to his ship being close to it. "So, you guys take this ship and we meet up on the surface in a few minutes?" he asked, directing the query to all three of them.

Thinking the same thing.
Janthis walks up to Cammander Coll. With a firm and swift salute he awaits General Colls return. After the General gives Janthis the nod to speak Janthis asks, " Sir I would like to request all avaliable info on the Osokans sir? Thier Armor primary weapons, long range capabilities, Overall physical abilities sir?"
Janthis stands at attention the entire time he is a military man through and through.
Janthis, " Sir could I also recieve the info on a datapad so I can rely all information to my troops sir?"

"Surprised me as well, Lyle, I didn't expect to see you here. It's been a while, hmmm? I was asked to come along for a job, usually I don't take one without knowing first the details but this one paid too well to turn down." Rylis replied. She nodded to Karn. "That sounds fine to me."

(It's General Coll; he's probably quite particular about that)

"I agree. I'd just like to make it clear that whilst the Commissar has put my in command of the mission, I will not be issuing direct orders unless I have to. I don't like to work that way, as Rylis knows. If ayone has any suggestions to make, do it. Also, if all three of you disagree with me on anything but a direct command, I am willing to back down.

"That said, I hope we form a good team. Let's go."

Stepping off the shuttle ramp, Trebeis looked once more around the hanger of The Victorious. Flagging down a passing Storm trooper, he said to the man "Please escort myself and my aid to the Commissar's quarters." Saluting the Captain and Lieutenant Commander, he smartly moved to lead them.

Finally arriving sometime later at the Commissar's rooms, Rhodes asked for an aid to inform the man that they had arrived.

OOC: Deth, the point of the matter is that no one should have to translate what you say. It would make things move much smoother if you would revise your posts.

Probably my bad 😮

General Coll will look up what information he can about the Osokans for Commander Janthis.

(for the sake of not having to rewrite things, check the Survival Guide and such...)

"Have all stormtroopers who are trained to use the speeder bikes outfitted with scout gear," Vantos says to Bast. "The armor, the pistols, the survival gear, everything."

Heh, well, I personally don't care!

Commissar and Captain, you may talk, though I still await Trebeis's standing orders for the organisation of his ship.

"I am fine with whatever you decide, unless it entails something ultimately too drastic for my tastes," Arvus says.

"Thank you sir," Janthis says Saluting General Coll again and then once dismissed returning to his troops.
There he calls them togather for inspection. He tells his second in command to come over.
Janthis begins to speak to his troops about the enemies they may encounter on this. Their strengths and weaknesses.
That attacking them close is almost useless and to saty far back. He tells them about their regenerative ability and that once you down fire at them a little longer to make sure their down.
Janthis then gets his chain of command together. His company leaders and squad leaders and such.
He tells them that he wants every trooper paired with another and that when they they shoot the same target which should help to take down an Osokan faster.
Then he tells them to drill on formations that include the ability to fire concentrated fire on certain areas in tight groups and also formations that allow a great ability to cross fire on an oppenent.
Janthis stands around watching until he is satisfied that the troopers know what is going on then he tells them to rest an exausting task is in there future.
After this Commander Janthis returns to his qaurters and starts to look up the different landscapes of Lanzar and any possible layouts of the city he could fight in.
He notices a bottle on the right of his desk and he wants to pick up and drink it but his men need him sharp andbesides it isn't worth anything till the nightmares start.

And with that, Karn jumped into the Argent Harrier and prepped for departure. The flip of a switch brought the ship to life and Karn waited; he was planning on following the others to the surface, so he waited for them to fly out first.

Lyle nodded,
"I hope you will not find nay of my decisions too drastic. But a command is a command, no matter. Shall we go?"

When Trebeis and his aid arrive to Commisar`s chambers, they find Melkor sitting relaxed at the table with holographic image of Lanzar displayed, appearing relaxed. The apartment seems to be the best one on entire ship, with expensive carpets in dark colors, accompanied by luxuriously designed furniture. Esgabath`s assistant seems to be studying some notes, lying on sofa.

"Captain Trebeis, I am glad that you have answered my invitation"- Sarcastic smile on Commisar`s face slowly fades, to be replaced by a stern, focused look. -"Would you like to drink some wine, I have Alderanian Royal Brand, which some consider to be the finest red wine in galaxy."- As Captain and his aid sit down, Melkor`s assistant prepares bottle and glasses.

"I have studied your record, and I have to admit that I am impressed by such brilliant career, from simple pilot to Captain of a major vessel. Pity that this unlucky incident on Kashyyk interrupted your line of impressing achievements. Yet you waited 10 years for second chance, so I assume this failure taught you the value of patience and caution, or didn`t it? Tell me Captain, do you have a personal grudge against Commodore Nidar?"

Inhaling the delicate fragrance of the wine, The Captain looked up and said "Grudge, sir? Not exactly." Pausing to sip the wine, he continued "I simply find the man to be far too arrogant to lead such an operation. Arrogance has a fickle way of playing on a man's emotions. It makes him feel invincible. And as we all know, when this happens... Mistakes are made. BIG mistakes, ones that could cost the lives of many men and woman." Pausing once again to take a sip of the wine, he added "And I am not one to shirk duty, I would gladly die for Emperor and Empire. But, I do not savor the prospect of dying, because of a mistake made by a man that thinks far too much of himself, Sir."

Trebeis is clearly no politician, Melkor, And you know well that the Emperor loves a man as brash as Nidar, if he can deliver.

All these military types espousing caution don't win favour on Coruscant.
