"Then we can make sure that you will have a chance for this ultimate sacrifice you seem to be constantly expecting from your troops. Of course it would be much better if you keep doing your duty as a general dilligently and seriously..... we certainly don`t want to be wasteful, do you finally agree?

I would like to see this report I mentioned as soon as possible, I am sure you will take what General Coil and your Commanders say into account."

"Of course, of course..."

Good. If there is nothing else to do Commisar would like to get few hours of needed sleep.

And concerning Drakkon, perhaps the point should be not the fact that he is breaking laws but his preparations for war?

Nicely done, Melkor. I wish I was mean and scary... 😛

General Coll too will head off to sleep, then.

Ok, all done for the day?

Sounds like it.

Then we are proceeding to day 3!

The troops are in pretty good heart after Melkor's speech. since the earlier incidents they knew the ground was dangerous. Probably the biggest danger is simple frustration- they came here to wipe out pigs, they want to get their hands on the pigs. Having to fight raptors is a bit of a distraction.

The blockade, with so few ships, is very weak. But no-one appears to have tried to run it. All is quiet on the subversive front.

DAY 3

Imperial forces are ready to advance

Blockade is now effectively running without solid legal basis

It is morning, and now time is urgent. If the army does not start to advance soon you will time out.

Well, our troops should advance in few hours. Was the plan to defend against wildlife prepared as I requested?

Legal situation- isn`t the fact that Drakkon or at least some Guilds are arming themselves enough justification for the blockade? Large amount of weapons on Lanzar will likely threaten peace and stability. Of course my Assistant is doing research all the time, she should inform me about any relevant regulation or law. Isn`t there any law for emergency situations that allow for blockade on planet which is without legal goverment and in state of unrest? Drakkon is stil illegal leader, he shouldn`t be allowed to arm himself.

I still hope I can get something from Sartorius..... maybe I should return to Lanzar if he doesn`t get in touch quickly.

Lyle heads off for his meeting.

Is the Guilds arming justification for blockade? No. It's absolutely legal for them to arm. And whether the Government is legal or not is the Senate's decision.

And if those weapons come from illegal traders?

That situation appears to have been dealt with. Push it, and the illegal attack on vessels running the blockade will be pushed also.

So entire weapon issue is no longer important? I will have to wait for the results of Lyle`s investgation.

Unless you have any information saying more are coming, and you don't have anything.

And besides those weapons, we don`t have anything substantial....

Nah. I mean, a blockade is a very extreme action, after all.

Well, we are doing something more extreme quite soon as well....

If I were present in Lanzar city when Drakkon learns that we made a move, I assume Commisar would be taken hostage?

That's hard to predict, though you reckon it might be somewhat lacking in safety.

But I can still visit Lanzar for few hours safely, right?

Unless they are extremely stupid then yes.
