Ush, can Melkor or Coll use a fortune point to maybe either convince Vader, or calm him down?

Hence, Vader's current thought process is:

Why did it all go wrong?

Simplify that, because there are a lot of complex reasons and those ULTIMATELY responsible can't be caught, which has severely pissed him off. So, that becomes

What was the greatest mistake made?

That's much better. That's an issue that can be dealt with. And to focus that:

Who is responsible for making the greatest mistake?
You'll have to interrupt his chain of thought somewhere else. [/B]

Hmm, so perhaps we can come up with other reason than the material issue? Shouldn`t Lomax have dealt with rebel terrorists? And perhaps there is the matter of the fact that Atar and Nidar refused my suggestion to pursue Last Laugh? I had an argument about it with Nidar.

The Last Laugh is a completely irrelevant issue. Besides, it really would have meant losng men ihn the jungle looking for any evidence.

Afraid not on Fortune; Vader has no truck with Luck. This one has to be talked out of, but the situation was made bad long ago.

Well, currently my character does not want to risk his life to save Coll.

Ush, emphazising the fact that Lomax gave the order would not be a good idea? Actually he didn`t object because he was afraid of me, and Vader was pissed off because Coll didn`t ask for air cover earlier for the same reason.

We can`t lie that using AT-ST`s was Lomax`s idea at this point, and Coll only wanted to use speeder bikes?

How is my Aide reacting by the way? I am more interested in her since I decided that she looks like my beloved number Six( I hope determining the look for my allies is okay).

I've got a busy weekend, so I may try to think of ways to weasel my way out of this rather than just posting...

Ok, well, we'll give a little longer to think a way out of this. I reckon Janthis can help you more, btw.

Everyone else is staying dead quiet, Melkor.

Really me probably because I was the surviving commander that and I made no comment that Raptors only attack in the Jungle which means Lomax was lieing.

Which would very upset Vader right?

Plus I made it very blatantly clear that the lifeforms were dangerous to Lomax and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Which means the original attack on the camp was his fault thus everything else that cam afterwards was his fault as well right?

Hmm, Coll could indeed do something based on your points, he could even call you as a witness, since you are at the meeting, I think.

So both Jaiden and Janthis are Coll`s underlings? I was sure one of them was in Lomax`s division.

I was Coll's at the beginning..., I don't know about Janthis.

Oh yeah I was always with Coll

EDIT- Rex was here

I like having underlings...

Could Coll somehow shift the topic to Lomax's waste of men and resources with his attempts at scouting? Janthis can testify that this was a huge waste of manpower.

But Vader already spoke that manpower losses are insignificant- you must make an argument that it all made entire fiasco possible.

Actually, that they only attack in the jungle was a logical inference form your experience that is absolutely correct.

It is, however, true that you made certain warnings about the danger of the wildlife that Lomax promptly did nothing about.

Boom I knew it

I'll wait for Coll to reference me into this 😛

(Let's hope that works...)

"Yes, but the reason I made that set-up was because you did NOTHING about the wildlife situation!" Coll snarls. "You were warned...hell, we all were...that the wildlife could be a problem and could reduce our manpower and do damage to our equipment. You left the camp completely undefended and vulnerable to attack. Such attacks have happened and we've suffered terrible losses due to your lack of preparation and defensive procedures, and there may be more attacks yet! You won't be prepared for them."

"It was not undefended! I followed all standard Imperial procedures!"

"Standard Imperial procedures do not include Lanzarian Raptors!" Coll says. "The patrols were not enough! You should have known that, after what happened when you sent them to their deaths in the jungle. The Raptors waltzed into the camp and tore straight through those patrols!"

"I withdrew the deep patrols afftef casualties! I did everything by the book!"

"But you sent the patrols in in the first place, with warnings of what could happen! And then, after you knew what could happen, you took no further defensive procedures to defend the camp."
